Draco's POV
I wish Hermione wasn't apart of this. I don't want her to get hurt. But being as stubborn as she is, she won't let me do it alone.
"Shut it blondie!" she warned.
Uh oh! I was actually saying my thoughts out loud. Eh. I'll just buy her some chocolate frogs later. I still can't believe that she was the one that colored my hair. She seems like she would hate the pranks that the twins would play, not help them. Oh I missed Fred. I would probably never tell anyone that, but I really do. I loved the way him and his brother were always upbeat. Now George is just empty. I fell so bad for being on the side that was the enemy and for knowing the death eater that killed Fred. Guilt cut through me every day and sliced me in half. At least I have my Hermione with me.
"Love, are you okay?" she asked with a concerning tone.
"Oh yeah I'm fine." I answered blankly. She probably didn't believe me but I didn't care as long as she was here.

We entered our common room and I plopped on the velvet couch. She involuntarily sat on my lap and I rubbed her back with small circles. Her head rested on my shoulder and I slowly started feeling sleep come to me.
"You're tired. I can tell by your breathing. Go to bed." She ordered.
"No. I want to stay here with you." I protested.
"Then I'll just get up and go to bed to leave you lonely."
"But...but...you're so aggravating."
She hopped off of me and ascended the stairs to her room. I ran after her and pulled her into the emerald one instead.
"Draco I'm not sleeping in here."
"Just until I fall asleep. Pleeeeaaaaaaasssseeee???" I pleaded.
"Fine, but just until you're sleeping."
"Thanks babe."
She exited for a short while to go put her pajamas on and returned shortly. I pulled the soft covers over our warm bodies and put my arm around her waist. I shortly fell asleep.
I awoke the next morning expecting an empty bed, only to find the love of my life lying next me. This made me tingly inside knowing that she had fallen asleep and stayed with me all night. I scooted out of the bed, careful not to wake up my angel.
"Don't...leave..." she mumbled in her sleep. She pulled back into her embrace holding me tighter.
"Seems like he roles have switched." I chuckled to myself.
"Draco?" she rubbed her eyes, slowly coming to her senses.
"Yes darling?" I asked stroking her hair.
"Um... I don't even know. But good morning." She answered.
"Morning to you too love."I said as I pecked her on the nose. "Now go get dressed. We're going to breakfast." I ordered.
"Geez. You're bossy this morning." She retorted.
"I'm bossy every morning." I corrected.
She got up and proceeded to her room as I went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Hermione's POV
We made our way to the Great Hall and sat at her table instead, receiving looks from her friends.
"What do you think you're doing Malfoy?" Ron asked snobbishly.
"Sitting, breathing, eating. What about you Weasley?" Draco asked in a rude tone as well. I squeezed his leg under the table, informing him to calm down.
Ron got up from the table. "I'll tell you what I'm-"
"Ronald! Sit down or I will jinx you so bad you won't be able to reproduce, or walk for that matter." I yelled at him. He sheepishly sat down and stayed silent for the remainder of breakfast. Gosh these redheads....
