Trapped

Unable to find the door out,

panic starts to set in.

I thrash,

and scream,

and kick around,

but nothing helps to keep me calm.

Panic and anxiety

are never a good pair.

They cause mental breakdowns

and hyperventilation.

I try my best to clear my mind

But it won't until I get out.

I try keep calm by pacing the room.

Strangely, it works.

Although my brain is ever so cloudy,

I am able to think straight.

I focus on thoughts of escape.

Breaking out,

I am finally free
