My eyes widened and I actually called him as I walked away from the rest of the group into the hallway. He picked up quickly.
"Wow you called fast ?"
"Are you okay ?"
"Ha ! I knew you would call if I said I was injured so what's wrong with you ?"
I dropped all type of concern before getting slightly mad.
"You really lied to me ?"
"Uh duh. So what happened ?"
I sighed.
"I don't know."
"Salice come on , I know you. You can tell me anything."
I gulped.
"Me and Klay might-"
"Salice ?"
I jumped seeing Mychel looking at me.
"Yes ?"
"Mom needs you."
"Okay. Hey Jimmy I'll call you back."
"Good , I'll be waiting."
I hung up the phone and walked back to the altar. I flipped my hair behind my shoulders before standing in front of Klay. He didn't even look at me and stared at his shoes.
Mom was speaking and I couldn't even focus.
I stared at Klay. His face was turning red because he knew I was staring at him.
