tori's pov
i was having a party tonight and i invited tons of people to come. i was seeing some of my best friends that i haven't seen in while. i was going to introduce them to nick. but of course something had to ruin the night.
a picture made its way through the internet of alecia and nick. me being me i believed it was recent and started to freak out.
"tori i promise you that picture is from months ago."
"it's funny because she has been coming back a lot lately. if you want to get together with her again then tell me. stop wasting my time."
"i don't want her, i want you."
"she cheated on me, i don't love her tori. i don't."
"whatever nick, i have a party to host." i said while walking back to my party downstairs
layla and gwenyth my friends sat at the mini bar and waited for me to come back.
"sorry i had to deal with something."
"we heard, are you okay?" layla asked
"heard about what?"
"this." gwenyth said while showing me the picture on her phone
"yeah i'm okay, he says it's an old pic but i don't know if i want to believe him."
"is nick your boyfriend?"
"no, we just kind of have a thing. but he keeps screwing things up."
"um tor." layla interrupted
"what?" i turned my attention to where she was pointing
"is that nick?" she asked
"yep."
nick was standing on the stairs arguing with a dude and was shoving him.
"what the fuck man?! why would you post that picture!?" he yelled
"because you've been being a dick lately, you needed someone to shove you back into place."
"what place is that kyle?!"
"cheater."
"i'm not a fucking cheater!"
nick then shoved the dude down on the ground and punched him in the face.
"nick stop!" i yelled and tried to intervene
"no tori i'm not going to stop, he posted that picture to get back at me when he knew it was an old photo."
"you're ruining my party nick, i think you should just go home."
"tori please, i care about you so much and it pains me that people are trying to tear us apart. you're all i have."
"just go nick." i said with tears building up in my eyes
"fine."
"shut the party down, i'm over this shit. everyone get out of here."

after everyone left i just sighed and sat on my sofa and stared at the ceiling. i wondered if nick was really worth all the constant pain. my phone kept going off with texts from him. i just didn't understand why the universe was so against us being together.
