tori's pov
brandon hasn't talked to me for a week, and i missed talking to him. i missed my friend. every time i was over at their house he acted like i didn't exist. but the boys were having a party today so i was hoping i'd get the chance to talk to him.
i spent an hour on my makeup to make sure i looked good for once. i also put on a tight red dress and paired some red lipstick with it. and to complete the look i put on my black thigh high boots. nick said he would come pick me up and bring me there so i waited for him to get here.
i invited my best friend lydia but she was meeting me there. soon enough a knock was placed at my front door. i opened the door to reveal a smiling nick, that smile quickly turned to a smirk as he looked me up and down.
"damn, i can't believe you're mine." he said before he kissed me on the cheek
"i love you baby, let's go."
we drove to the party and luckily there wasn't that many people there yet so i wasn't overwhelmed. nick came in holding my hand but i feel like as soon as the door closed behind us he was gone somewhere already. i knew i could trust him but it's the other people i was worried about.
i tried to see if i could find brandon, i found him talking to what do you know lydia. perfect chance to talk to brandon. i walked over to where they were and tapped lydia on the shoulder.
"oh lyds there you are."
"oh hi brandon, can we talk for a sec?"
"nah i'm good, i got nothing to say to you." he said before walking away
"so that was brandon?" lydia asked
"yep."
"he was totally flirting with you lyds, you should hit him up cause he's a nice dude."
"i mean he seems to hate you though." lydia said while laughing
"i had a short fling with him before i got back with nick and now he's sad about it."
"oh i see."
"i want to fix our friendship but he doesn't want to talk to me."
"i'm sorry tor, i hope it gets better."
"i hope so too, damn i need a drink."
i went over to get a drink from the bar, when i was turned around someone came up behind me and put their hands on my hips. i assumed it was nick but i turned around and was met with some random dude.
"damn you're beautiful."
"maybe, but i'm taken so doesn't matter to you."
"he doesn't have to know."
"he lives here, he will know."
"you're with one of the prettymuch boys?"
"yes."
"they're all pussy's, you need a real man like me."
the guy pinned me on the wall and tried kissing my neck and i couldn't get him off. i just squirmed and tried to push him off of me. suddenly he was ripped off of me and on the floor.
brandon was punching him in the face repeatedly until austin pulled him off.
"where was your boyfriend tori? would he do that for you?! i don't think so!" brandon said angrily
austin walked him outside so he could calm down, and brandon got me thinking where the hell was nick. i looked over and found him being lifted over a keg by some guys. i was pissed off, i just walked right passed him and went upstairs.
i sat on nick's bed and stared at the wall, questioning if i chose the right boy. nick wasn't there for me like brandon always was. after sitting there for a while i heard the door open. i didn't turn around and look at who entered the room. i only looked when the person took a seat next to me.
i turned to see brandon looking down at the floor and sighing to himself.
"tori, i'm sorry."
"what are you sorry for b? i'm the one that should be apologizing to you. i led you on, and now i'm questioning if nick is even worth it. he's never there for me like you are brandon."
"i know he's not, but i can promise you he loves you so much tori. and you guys belong together, you and i belong as friends."
"i know, it just sucks sometimes. i know nick isn't perfect i know that. but i just wish he showed that he cared more. like tonight something bad could've happened to me and he didn't even know about it. he was too busy pretending to be a frat boy while sucking on that keg."
"nick is like that, he gets sad a lot so he drowns his feelings in alcohol. he's been depressed since he's been back with you because he doesn't want to lose you this time. he wants to do everything in his power to ensure you stay with him. and honestly it's killing him inside."
