nick's pov
it hurt my heart to see tori like that right in front of me, and knowing i was partially to blame. as soon as we got to the hospital they immediately took her from me and tried to contain me in a waiting room. brandon showed up right on time though, he forced me into a chair so i would stop freaking out.
"nick, tori is a fighter she's going to be fine."
"we don't know that, and it's my fault brandon. if i wasn't such a dick she wouldn't of left and this would've never happened."
"it is not your fault she got in a car accident nick."
"you should try to go home and get some sleep nick."
"i don't want to leave, what if something happens when i'm gone."
"you need to calm down and i will call you with any updates."
"fine."
i went home but brandon should've known what happens when i'm emotional. i tend to gravitate towards the alcohol. i went straight home and found a bottle of jack and drank the whole thing. then i threw the bottle at a wall and started yelling and cursing.
"nick stop it!" austin yelled
"this isn't going to help tori!"
"you need to be strong for her!"
"this is the kind of shit that made her leave nick. so you need to stop."
"i'm sorry, i just can't handle it sometimes."
"i know, and i want to help you get better. tori needs the best you right now."
"hey austin?"
"yeah?"
"can you take me to a store, i want to get some stuff for tori."
"sure."
we went to the nearest supermarket to pick up some of tori's favorite candies and treats. i picked up a giant teddy bear, some flowers, kit kats, hot cheetoes, and a big fluffy blanket.
right as we were checking out i got a call from brandon
b: hey nick you need to get to the hospital now
n: why? is everything okay?
b: i'm not sure, they won't tell me anything other than she's in critical condition right now.
n: okay, i'm on my way

i sat and waited in that waiting room for what felt like years, until finally the doctor came out.
"victoria is stable right now, but she's currently not able to wake up. you can go in and see her but she won't be able to see you."
brandon agreed to let me go in first, i brought all the stuff that i just got at the store. i put the blanket on over her and set the bear next to her in bed.
"i got all your favorites for when you wake up."
"even though you might not be able to hear me i just want to say i love you so much. and i'm so sorry this happened. i should've treated you better, then you wouldn't of wanted to leave. i just hope when you wake up you'll forgive me."
i let a tear fall off of my face and onto her hand that i held in mine
i kissed her on the forehead and said goodbye for the night because visiting hours were over.
she was still here but i miss her more than ever.
