"Please dad" I beg.
He sighs. "What does this damn girl mean to you?"
"Nothing! I just promised her I'd provide a happier life for her and her mom. I want to keep that promise before I let her off to do her own thing" I say.
"But didn't you inject a tracker in her?" he raises an eyebrow.
"Because I was afraid she'd tell people she was with the Archer brothers. I wanted to be safer than sorry. So I had to lie" I play with my fingers and he hums. "Oh come on dad! I want to keep my promise but I can't do it alone!"
He groans. "Ughhh fine"
"So... you like... like her?" Alice walks up.
"No? Go away Alice! Dad and I have something to do!" I snap.
"For... Whisper?" Addy asks.
I stomp. "Addy if you don't get the fuck out of my face I-"
"Okay cougar, let's go" dad drags me out of the house and into his Lamborghini. "Where first?"
"Our smallest mansion in Georgia. Near here" I say.
He nods and speeds off.
My phone goes off and I see it's an incoming call from Dallas, which means Ethan too. I groan and pick it up. "Yo where's Whisper? Is she with you?" Dallas immediately asks.
"No?" I ask in confusion.
"Well, she's not answering her phone and not at her house" Ethan says.
"I don't know! Check her tracker!" I snap and they get quiet.
"Good idea" Dallas hangs up.
Dad looks at me. "Your girl missing?"
"She's not my girl. And she's probably somewhere stupid and not answering her phone because she's kinda mad at me" I shrug.
"I don't even wanna know what you did" he laughs.
I laugh along.
Minutes later we pull into one of our mansions and i smirk.
