Bingo.
I was back in my room, checking the progress of the program. It's been a few hours since Ren's meeting. I didn't really know what to do, as I never really took breaks in the past. I pull out a piece of paper, and started writing a letter. My computer beeps at me, and I glance back at the screen. A blinking red dot appeared, and I stood up, looking at the coordinates. It was pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Took me a while to find him, but I finally did. Man, he's gonna be surprised that I'm alive at this point. I memorize the coordinates, and go back to writing.
Kage,
If this is not you, then I highly recommend you ignore the contents of this paper, as the rest of this message will not make sense to you. If this is you, well, I can't believe I found you. I had doubts, but I was able to trace the faint amounts of corruption energy you had. Barely, but it was enough. I would stop by in person, but I'm afraid that they'll track where I went and find you. Power's disbanded, as you already know, but a new group has formed called Phantoms. I had originally called it Power 2.0, but I soon found that Phantoms is nowhere near what Power used to be like. The leader is ruthless, as it may or may not surprise you that it is none other than Ren himself. I cannot see any part of Orion in him, he's a completely different person than what I expected. While Phantoms seems to be slightly more organized than what Power was, they're in desperate need of someone else. Someone who can lead better than that bastard Ren. Now, I'm not asking you to return, but I am. I don't know how they'll accept you, I don't know how they will treat you. There are still some former members of Power in Phantoms, and I'm very certain that they'll be behind your back when you need it.
As for me, I am doing relatively well
I pause, trying to figure out what else to say. Not having anything come to mind, I stand up, and start walking out the door. Taking a walk sometimes can clear my mind. I pass by the cafeteria, and grabbed a cookie. An idea forms in my mind as I nibble on it. My mind flashes back to Hattori, and I push the thought out from my mind. I threw the rest of the cookie away (it wasn't very good anyways), and I start heading back to my room when my vision turns black. I stumble, leaning to the right as I looked for a wall, and fell against it. I sink down to the ground, blinking, as I tried to regain my vision. After a few minutes, my vision slowly returns. I wait a bit longer, making sure I was fine, and got back up. I slowly walked back, staying near the wall in case it happened again. It didn't. I ignore what just happened, and I pick my pen back up, trying to finish the letter.
As for me, I am doing relatively well, or at least that's what I think. Everything seems to be running smoothly
The pen slips in my grip, trailing off the paper a bit. I flexed my fingers, trying to figure out what happened. My hand was numb for some reason. I sigh. Why did I delay checking on myself in the first place? I try standing up, feeling a bit weaker than before. I run to the best of my abilities, heading to the lab. Throwing open the door, a few people glance up at me as I stab a needle in my arm, drawing blood, ignoring the small amount of pain that came with it. I sigh, sitting back down as I ran a few tests. A while later, I check on the results. I lean on the table, shaking a bit, and a few tears slide down my face. For some reason, I can't help but laugh. After all these damn years, the ultimate cause of my death is being poisoned.
