" Where are you..." I whispered softly sliding my hand over the castle bricks. Out of all the places in my mind that Grayson created I couldn't get into my home. No doors were unlocked and when ever I tried to break them down it was like they were made of unbreakable steel. Turning into the kings courtyard I huffed in annoyance, as I had circled around the giant castle three times now. All entrances were sealed off.
" What are you hiding..." I hissed lowly slamming my fist onto the marble table. A large one inch crack shot up the middle splitting the structure in half and causing the two pieces to fall to the side. I felt incapable of any other emotion beside anger and pain. Any little thing was getting to me and I couldn't think straight. It was as if all my patience had dripped out of me slowly.
A twist of the knife that laid in my core caused me to scream and fall to the ground clutching my abdomen. Hunching my back slightly I gasped for air and growled out in anger as the pain was becoming too much. It had been months from what Grayson has talented me with and my condition was only getting worse.
Grunting loudly I slowly rose to my feet leaning against the brick wall feeling the pain slowly subside but it never disappeared. It was a lingering ache that felt like I was being torn apart from the inside out. Tears threatened to fall but I refused to give in. I wouldn't allow the pain to win and I wouldn't allow them to win.
Standing up on shaky legs I held myself up with sheer will. I had no more energy to give,my mental state was getting worse as well. It was if my mind was shutting down along with my body in the outside world. I was starving. I hadn't hunted in months and it was taking its toll.
Resting my head back against the brick wall I shut my eyes and just stayed very still trying to listen into my mind to see if I could pick up on anything. " Shhhh..." the sound made me jump and open my eyes. " Shhhsh..." A faint chill raced up my back as the noise got clear. " Shhh...He'll hear you." Fuck this. My whole body froze at the sound of the child's icy voice. " Shhhh he's coming...come on Anna!" The giggle she or he let out left me shivering and my mind reeling.
Can a mind be haunted? Something about the child's voice was familiar but distant...like a repressed memory. Racing forward I fallowed after the giggling my heels melting into the ground as I pictured myself in my hunting gear. My black pumps were replaced by leather boots and my red dress molded to my body giving me my usual hunting clothes.
" 1-2-3....Ready or not here I come!" The voice giggled and I rounded the corner coming to a stop in front of the east side of the castle.
" Andy?" A small child stood in front of me her brown hair pulled into a neat bun and her pink dress rumpled from the running she had just done. " Andy?" She called out again twirling around in a circle in search of her Andy.
" Andrew This isn't funny where are you?" She huffed her nose turning slightly pink from the cold weather. " Father is probably worried sick!" She stomped forward picking up the front of her dress and holding it to her chest to ensure she wouldn't trip and ruin the pretty fabric. " Andrew Knight I'm going home without you!!" My body jolted as the veil of confusion was lifted from my eyes and I actually saw who stood in front of me.
" A-Annnie.." a weak strangled voice called out from behind me and I turned sharply nearly falling over as the land started to swirl into streaks of browns and whites.
It finally came to a stop and I now stood ankle deep in snow. The transition of places left me feeling dizzy but I was forced to shove it down as I frantically looked for little me. " Andy is that you?!" The sound of her innocence voice echoed from my right and I quickly trudged through snow, stoping when I came to a clearing. A large willow tree sat dead center it's large trunk rooted deeply into the ground showing its age.
" Andy?" My attention snapped to the small girl who stood frozen staring at the tree in front of her. " No..." I whispered finally recognizing the memory. " Stay away fro-" A loud roar shook me to the core and I raced forward fully prepared to get Little me out of here but a force threw me back. My body collided with a red cider tree before falling to the ground with a thunk. " AHHH!!" Her screams made me cry out as I watched a black form tear into her abdomen. " NO!" I screamed trying to stand but a pressure held firm over my body restricting me from moving and I was forced to watch as the unknown beast tore into me as a child.
" Anastasia!!" A white hot searing pain ripped through me making my vision blur and my body become numb. This memory....something wasn't right. It wasn't the full memory I was missing pieces, important pieces I just couldn't remember them. I needed to remember them! It was important I needed to remember them!! Remember it! Damn it Anastasia Remember it!!

" Get away from my sister!!"

His voice was the last thing I heard before darkness pulled me back to the beginning. Andrew it was something about Andrew. I needed to remember. I laid in the grass outside the east end of the castle my face pressed to the emerald green blades.
" Remember please remember why I did this..."
