Remember a time
A dark moment in your life
And how you survived.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have learned over a few years that it's okay to be afraid of something, to have fear reside in yourself, but it is not acceptable to let it take over your life. If you do, time will pass faster than you will ever have imagined.
It was hard to get the fear to let go of my life, and so I experienced many of these dark passages. I've had many personal issues to deal with and have weathered through them.
I write this tiny little haiku to say that looking back and seeing that you survived through something, anything, gives you strength, fuels a fire inside of yourself that encourages you to take on any challenges that lay ahead of you.
Even if it takes time, or if it takes more than one try to show yourself that you can surpass this minuscule little road bump in your life, it's worth it. Baby steps are larger than you think.
