"Rose get down here, Nahmir's here" I could hear her mom screaming at the top of her lungs.
Mane she take mad long every morning before we go to school. Bruh. We rode to to school together everyday since first grade. Rose has been my best friend since we were in diapers.
"Nahmir, I'm ready. What has you so lost in thought?" Rose asked
I was so lost in thought I didn't even see her come down. I sized her, she looked good but I ain't tell her. She was wearing a grey top, with black leggings and a grey slides.

" Oh, Yea I'm ready" I said
We both got into the car. She smelled like roses. (Lol y'all see what I did there?) She took the aux cord before I could even close my door and started playing, boo'd up my Ella Mai.
"Mane this song Hella cheesy, change that Shit" I said
"I like it, damn" Rose said Then she started singing. Good god I slapped myself in the face not because her voice was bad or anything but because we listen to this song almost every morning.
"Rose we listen to this every morning, change it bruh" I said "Nahmir not every morning, but like two out of three days" she said "Mane it feel like everyday, shits annoying" I said
She mean mugged me then changed it to Nicki Minaj- Barbie Dreams I was quiet for the rest of the car ride just enjoying the music and listening to Rose singing.
As I pulled up to the school she groaned. "Mane I feel you, yk how much I hate Monday's" I said
She looked at me and did her fake cry. "Nickk, my love take me home please. I don't want to be here" she said whilst fake crying.
Bruh she did this every Monday morning. She put her head on my shoulder and I just pulled her into the school doors. As we walked in destiny jumped on her.
"Bitchhh I miss you, where Nahmir dumbass been hiding you? Anyhow. Y'all walking up in here looking like a whole couple" destiny said
Rose and I looked at each other and laughed so hard, that we both started crying and slapping our knees.
" Bruh, Rose and I could never be together, her head too big" I said still laughing
" Your laugh too ugly, spray bottle ass laugh" she said
" Shut yo McDonald chicken nugget looking ass" I clapped back
" Bruh I'm done. I'm cute and yk it so byeeeee" Rose said flipping her hair
Just then Glizzy and Jay walked up to us, we did our infamous handshake. Then the bell rang. Rose and I had all the same classes. Everybody else were just in English and math with us.
" Catch y'all at lunch, losers" Rose shouted.
We got into the class and she sat next to me, we had science now.
" So class I'll be pairing y'all up for your group projects" Professor Black said " Anna and Clarke" "Nicholas and Rose" "Wesley and James" Blah blah blah
The first three periods of class went by super quickly. Mainly because Rose and I were goofing around.
We're sitting at the lunch table, Glizzy, Jay, Destiny and Rose were all looking at me. " what y'all ain't ever seen a black man eat, Wassup?" They all Burst out laughing "Bruh you have food all in your hair, calm down" Glizzy said I gave him a fake smile " Thanks alot Zion, but I'm hungry, Idc" I said
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly. The bell rang indicating time for us to go home.
Rose pov
"Nahmir let's go get something to eat, I'm hungry, I can't take it" I shouted at him
"Where you wanna eat at" he asked
"Burger King duhhhh, dumbass" the last part I mumbled. Since we were in his car.
Nahmir drove to Burger King. Neither of us spoke because when I'm hungry I'm a whole different monster and he knew that.
We walked in and walked up to the register, he ordered a whopper combo, with a large fries and a large drink. The cashier flirted with him a little but he didn't pay it any mind. I rolled my eyes at her and she backed off. We sat down waiting for them to Call the order. Just then a girl walked in with red hair. Her face looked familiar but I shrugged it off. I maybe know her from instagram but she definitely caught nahmir's eye.
