Nick's POV
📍The house
"Come on Nick, we gonna be late" Rose said rushing me to get ready
"The one time in your life you're ready on time, quit rushing me" I said laughing moving even slower
"HURRRYY UP" She whined
We were getting ready to go to Dessy's baby shower, Rose and Glizzy put together the entire thing. The gender was still a secret only the both of em knew and they wasn't telling anybody for shit.
"I'm done, let's go" I said
"Finally" she said rolling her eyes
"What I tell you about rolling those eyes lil girl?" I asked choking her and she smiled
"Ion know daddy, tell me" she bit her lips and looked at me and I tighten my grip and whispered in her ear, "wait til we get back home" and she smiled and ran off to the car
📍The house, backyard
There were black and white balloons everywhere. Everything was so cheesy you could tell Rose did all of this but it was kinda cute
"You like it?" She asked from behind me
"Hell yea, we know you did this, it's hella corny" I said giggling
"Shut up" She said hitting my arm making me smack my teeth
There wasn't much people here. 15 for the most which meant Glizzy wanted this to just be family and friends alone. It was just Glizzy's mama, Dess's mama, Jay, Cordae, Rose, some of Glizzy's cousins and Dess's closest cousins.
I was most happy to Dessy's mom, which means she told her and things went well. We all took our seats and waited on Dess and Glizzy to arrive
Dessy's POV
I walked into the backyard and it was a total transformation, it was the prettiest thing I've ever seen and immediately I started crying, one because I am almost 8 months pregnant and I'm just an emotional bitch. Glizzy hugged me and whispered, "this all for you ma, I love you" making me smile hard asl
"Thank y'all so much, I really do appreciate y'all " I said still crying
My momma got up to hug me and yes I did tell her. At first she wasn't too pleased but she came to her senses that I would never throw away a child and even though we're not on the best terms I'm happy she's here.

Dess POV

"Somebody's knocking on the door, go get it Glizzy" I said to him because he know I wasn't finna get up
"Fine" he got up going to answer the door
"Hi mom, what are you doing here" I heard him say with a slight faint in his voice. What's his momma doing here?
"I came to see my babygirl and the gang" She said inviting herself in
I saw my mother walk in and Lord I wanted to shit myself because even though we spoke often I still didn't tell her about well yk, so I pretended to be on my phone
