"So when you finna drop this?" I asked
"Maybe in 2 weeks" he said smiling at me
"Y'all wanna get something to eat?" Glizzy asked
"I could eat" jay said getting up
"Me too" Nick, Dess and I all said in unison
Burger King 📍
We ordered and sat waiting for our food.
"Yo, Krystal's throwing a party tonight" jay said looking up from his phone
"And?" I asked
"We should go, she kinda cute too yk" He responded
"He just saying that cause he got her number and they been talking" Nick responded and Jay stank faces him
"Ohh Jay Jay in love" Glizzy teased him laughing
"Nigga stfu before I break yo skinny ass" Jay threatened
"Nigga i'd like to see you try" Glizzy said balling his fists up and Jay calmed down
"Mane whatever" he said getting up and going to the car
"Y'all so mean sometimes" Dess laughed saying
"He mean too" Glizzy said rolling his eyes
"Y'all I'm gonna go to the bathroom" Dess said getting up
"Glizzy she okay?" Nick asked him
"Idk she been a bit distant and I tried talking to her but she just like she doesn't wanna talk about it" He responded looking a lil slumped
"Hmm, imma try" I said patting his back
"I mean you could" he said shrugging his shoulders
It was as though he was fedup of trying and didn't know what to do anymore.
"Order 33, Order 33" the cashier called out
We all got up and Nick and Glizzy grabbed all the food
"Imma gonna go check on Dess, be right back" I said running of to the bathroom
I stepped in to hear crying. The person sounded just like Dess
"Dess? Is that you?" I asked stepping into the stall she was in
"Idk what to do Rose" she cried
"What to do about what?" I asked her
"Idk how to say it" she said still crying
"Say what?" I asked her
"Please don't say your disappointed in me" she said in between sobs
"Destiny are you okay?" I asked
"I'm pregnant" she said shocking tf outta me
"Are you sure" I asked her shaking my head
"Here look" she said handing me the pregnancy test
"Oh" I said kneeling down beside her
"I just came to throw up" she said slightly smiling
"Why didn't you take the test home?" I asked
"I didn't want anybody to find it" she said still sobbing
"I got you and whatever your decision is I'm here to support you" I said hugging her
"What's my momma gonna think of me Rose? Or even Glizzy? What if he doesn't want it? What if he breaks up w me?" She said and started to cry again
"He won't, that boy loves you too much and yk that and as for your momma? She gone have to understand and just be there for you" I said getting up and pulling her up with me
"Thanks Rose, idk what I would do without you" she said washing her face
"Here put some makeup on, we don't want them to ask you why you was crying for" I said laughing and handing her my bag
After she applied the lipgloss, we both walked out of the restaurant and into the car
"What took y'all so long?" Nick asked
"She was taking a damn shit" I lied and laughed
"Damn you nasty" Jay said laughing
I texted her.
To Dessy 😍 Hey you gone have to act normal w Glizzy before he suspects something's up okay
She looked at me and shook her head yes.
