*February First*
Taylor's POV
"So what could it be? What could it possibly be?" I asked the crowd, and they exploded in cheers. "You know London, you guys have been so incredibly good to me, you really have. You..." I paused. "You have been so much fun that the band and I have actually started to call you 'Fundon', ya get it?" I asked, and they exploded in cheers. "We love you a lot, and I love you because you've been so incredibly supportive, and I love coming to the UK for a lot of reasons...." I paused again. "Seeing you... And one of my BEST friends is from here." I said, and their screams grew considerably louder. "I'm just...I'm just wondering how you would feel...if I were to tell you, hypothetically....if I were to say....that Ed Sheeran was here!" I said, and they screamed the loudest that they had screamed all night. I shrugged with a knowing look to the crowd, and then happily pranced over to the bottom of the stairs. I looked up, and there appeared Ed with his guitar, playing the intro to Lego House. I grinned as he made his way down the stairs slowly, and he gave me a kind look. I haven't seen him at all since my birthday, except for a brief thirty seconds before the show. I'd really like to just give him a huge kiss, but I have to keep in mind that I'm in front of 30,000 people-all of whom think we are just best friends.
"Hey buddy!" I said quietly.
"Hey love." He returned before walking with me over to the microphone stand. "I'm gonna pick up the pieces, and build a Lego house, if things go wrong we can knock it down." He sang, and the crowd exploded with screams. I grinned. "My three words have two meanings, and there's one thing on my mind: it's all for you."
"Mmmm." I joined in on that part. "It's a dark and a cold December, but I've got you to keep me warm. If you're broken I will mend you, and I'll keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on now." I sang with him. "I'm out of touch, I'm out of love, I'll pick you up when you're getting down, and out of all these things I've done," I looked over at Ed, to find his eyes already on mine. "I think I love you better now." We sang together before looking away. "I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind, I'll do it all for you in time, and out of all these things I've done," I turned back to look at him. "I think I love you better now." We sang together, and I did my best to not blush.
Ed and I walked down the center aisle towards the other microphone, and I started singing solo this time. "I'm gonna paint you by number, I'm gonna color you in. If things go right we can frame you," I started, and turned, pointing to Ed. "And you put you on a wall." I sang in a British accent, and we both laughed a little.
"And it's so hard to say it." He sang alone before I joined in again.
"But I've been here before. So I'll surrender up my heart, and swap it for yours." We sang together, and I grinned at him. "I'm out of touch, I'm out of love, I'll pick you up when you're getting down, and out of all these things I've done," I turned to meet his eyes for the next line. "I think I love you better now." We sang together before I turned to look out at the audience. "I'm out of sight, I'm out of mind, I'll do it all for you in time, and out of all these things I've done, I think I love you better now."
"Don't hold me down..." Ed sang alone, and it was all I could do to not just stare. He's so good at capturing the audience's attention, and his voice is pure gold. "Cuz my braces are breaking, and it's more than I can take."
"It's a dark and a cold December, but I've got you to keep me warm."I sang with him, and we both giggled. "If you're broken I'll mend you, and keep you sheltered from the storm that's raging on now."
"London...London....wait, wait, London...you know, the first time I heard Ed Sheeran's music, I heard this song on the radio, and I thought my GOD he's got the voice of an ANGEL!" I screamed excitedly, and Ed laughed. "I thought that I've got to work with him, I've got to meet him, I've got to write with him. So a year and some change later, on a DAY OFF, he's nice enough to come and play for you tonight, London." I told them excitedly, and the crowd clapped. "How do you feel about Ed Sheeran tonight, London?" I asked, and they clapped and cheered again. I walked over and rested my arm on Ed's shoulder. "I think we would both really like it if you were to take anything sparkly...a phone, anything, we're not picky, really, and put it up in the air, and sing with us as loudly as you possibly can." I paused for a moment. "Now, go like this with the sparkly things." I waved my arm a little. "Ah, beautiful London, beautiful!" I told them, before singing with Ed again.
