“Elsa! Psst! Elsa! Psst! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!” Anna shook me roughly.
“Anna, Go back to sleep.” I grumble and shake her off.
Anna rolls over on top of me and dramatically puts her hand on her forehead.
“I just can’t. The sky’s awake, so I’m awake. So we have to play.”
“Go play by yourself.” I push her off the bed and I snuggle closer to my pillow, tucking my blanket closer to my neck. She gets up and whispers in my ear “Do you wanna build a snowman?” Causing me to look up at her and smile.
Anna pulls my arm and grabs ahold of my hand.
“C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, c’mon!.” She yells excitingly.
“Shhh.”
Anna opens the door to the ballroom and shuts it quietly behind us before running back towards me.
“Do the magic! Do the magic!”
I laugh lightly at her before circling my hands around one another creating a snowball and throwing it into the air, freezing the whole room into a winter wonderland.
“This is amazing!” Anna starts jumping up and down looking around at the snow falling around us.
“Watch this.” I whisper before stomping my foot and making an ice rink.
We both run to other sides of the room and start creating huge snowballs and putting each on top of the other.
I turn our freshly made snowman around and lower my voice a few octaves.
“Hi I’m Olaf, and I like warm hugs!” Anna jumps off the little ball of snow she was sitting on and runs to hug Olaf.
“I love you Olaf.” She smiles softly, closing her eyes as she snuggles into him. She pulls him around the room, dancing with him across the ice, when suddenly she jumps into mid air.
“Catch me!” She yells loudly.
“Gotcha!” I try to hide the fear I’m feeling and smile.
“Again! Again!” Anna starts jumping of the snow peaks faster and faster, making me worry about what could happen.
“Slow down!” I try to keep up but slip on the ice and fall. I see Anna falling in mid air and try to save her, accidently shooting ice at her head making her fall unconscious on the ground.
What have I done? My baby sister. I run over to her and pull her head on my lap, silently crying onto her shoulder.
“MAMA! PAPA!” I pull away from Anna just as a strand of her hair turns pure white. Mother and Father rush into the ballroom and over to where me and Anna are sitting.
“Elsa, what have you done? This is getting out of hand!” Father pulls Anna away from me and stands up.
“It was an accident. I’m sorry, Anna.” I cry softly holding on to mamas side.
“She’s ice cold.” Mama adds, resting her hand on Annas head.
“I know where I have to go. Take Elsa back to her room.” Father tells mama and she nods swiftly before pulling my hand and taking me to my room.
“Guards, move Elsas stuff to the room across Annas please.” I stand back as I watch the tall men move my stuff into the room with the snowflakes on the door.
About 20 minutes later all my stuff is in my new room and mama has handed me a pair of green gloves.
“It’ll help control it.” She whispers quietly before leaving my room.
I lay on my bed face down and weep silently, thinking of what is going on with Anna right now.
Tap! Tap!
I pull away from my soaked pillow and look around the room. It was probably the guards walking around the hallways. But then I hear it again.
Tap! Tap!
I slowly stand up and walk around the room observing any possible object that could possibly be making the sound. I sit back down on my bed and just look around. I look towards the window and see a tall figure sitting on the window sill outside.
I quickly rush over and pull the window open it causing the tall figure to tumble clumsily into my room and land on its back making a big ‘oof’ sound. I giggle softly making it snap its head towards me.
“Who are you?” It asks standing up and picking up a large stick on the way.
“I’m Elsa.” I puff my chest out and try and look tough but all it does is let out a loud throaty laugh and look back down at me.
“I’m Jack.” It- I mean he replies sticking his large hand out. I take his large hand in my tiny one and give it a big shake.
“Nice to meet you.” I smile and go to sit back on my bed.
“The pleasure is all mine.” Jack replies before taking a seat next to me.
We talked for hours that night, learning new things about each other and telling jokes. This is going to be the start of a amazing friendship I can already tell.
