Brooke's POV

I was now five months pregnant and Luke and I were going to the doctor today to find out the gender of the baby. I was so excited to see if we were having a boy or girl. No matter what I would be happy with either.

Luke and I hoped in the truck and headed to our doctors appointment in Leesburg. I was so excited I was literally shaking. Luke grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. The rest of the ride we talked about baby names, what type of nursery we wanted, and how much our life would be changing.

We finally arrived at the doctors office and I signed in. Luke and I looked through the different types of pamphlets in the doctors office.

A nurse finally came out a called "mrs Bryan ?"

Luke and I got up and followed her back into the doctors office. She checked my weight, blood pressure and things like that. I had already gained 20 pounds my gosh I felt huge.

I looked at the nurse and said "I look like a whale and I'm only 5 months along ima be a big as a house by the time I'm ready to give birth." Both Luke and the nurse started busting out laughing. Luke looked at me and said " you could be 500 pounds and I would still think you were the most beautiful woman on this earth. I was blushing now and passionately kissed Luke.

The nurse took us into the office and I layers down on the table and waited for the doctor arrive.

He came in and asked the usual: how was I feeling, my gosh you gained some weight, the baby looks like he's coming along nicely.

He finally put the gel on my stomach and searched around for the babies heartbeat. Finally he found the baby and showed us his head, arms, and legs but we avoiding a certain part of the body.

He got a nervous look and his face said Mr and Mrs Bryan your gonna have one big baby boy! He's huge for only being five months! I just looked at Luke and smiled. We were gonna have a son.
