My life with Luke

From bad to worse

Luke's POV

I rode in the back of the ambulance with Brooke. My mom came a got the kids and brought them to her house where they would stay until Brooke was better.

When we finally arrived at the hospital, they brought Brooke back to the operation room because they needed to get the bullet out of her leg. 

Two hours later....

Brooke came out of surgery and she was fine beside the gun shot injury. I went back into the hospital room to see her and she was sleeping. My mom came by and dropped the kids of a couple hours later. She said she was busy and couldn't watch them.

When Brooke finally woke up, the kids were running wild. Paisley was screaming her head off she was so hungry and I couldn't feed her. I needed Brooke.

"GOSH Luke what is going on?"

"Baby she's hungry please feed her she won't stop crying"

Brooke's POV

I grabbed Paisley and started to breastfeed her but she wouldn't latch on and was still screaming crying. 

"She won't latch on Luke. I don't know what's going on."

All of a sudden Luke's phone rang and it looked important so he took the call outside the hospital room. Luke came back in almost crying.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"Brooke we just lost everything our house, money, everything."

"What baby what happened how did this happen?"

"Somebody took out a big loan in my name" Luke said "and it was never paid off all the money from my first album everything it's gone. We're broke."

I couldn't stop crying. I was so scared our life was falling apart piece by piece and I had no idea what to do.
