My life with Luke

He's coming

4 months later.......

Brooke's POV

I had been on bed rest now for the last four moths and baby Bentley could arrive at anytime now.

Luke had been really great the last four months taking care of me and everything. He waited on my hand and foot and was the best husband anyone could ever ask for.

I woke up this morning with a strange feeling in my stomach and when I stood up something wet broke between my legs. OMG MY WATER JUST BROKE!

LUKE.....! LUKE! MY WATER JUST BROKE WE HAVE TO GO NOW!

Luke came into our bedroom and carried me down the stairs and into his truck. He went back into the house to get the babies bag and my hospital bag. He put the bags in the truck and finally got in the car and drove to the hospital.

I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers. "Were gonna have a baby Luke. We are gonna be parents." The smile on his face was from ear to ear. "I know baby I'm so excited to meet our little boy!"

We finally arrived at the hospital and a nurses greeted us at the truck with a wheelchair and wheeled me into a room.

The doctor came in to check me out while Luke filled out some paper work. The doctor told me I was 3 cm dilated and I had a long way to go before the baby came. So just sit back and try to relax. Oh yeah doctor I having a baby and you want me to sit back and relax yeah right.

6 hours later.....

I was in labor for 6 hours now and was only 5 cm dilated. I was in so much pain and Luke could see it on my face. He kept telling me he wished he could take the pain away but he couldn't. I know he's trying to be sweet but I didn't really feel like hearing it. The pain was unbearable.

6 hours later....

Luke's POV

Brooke had been in labor for 12 hours now and she was only 7 cm dilated. She was in so much pain ad I could tell by the look on her face. She wanted the baby out and she wanted him out now. The doctor had told us it could take up to 24 hours in labor for the baby to come and if he didn't come in the next 12 hours they would have to perform a c-section.

6 hours later...

Brooke had been in labor now for 18 hours and was finally 10 cm dilated and was ready to push.

Brooke's POV

I was finally 10 cm dilated and started pushing. I pushed and pushed and pushed and after and hour of pushing baby boy bryan had arrived weighing 10 pounds and 11 oz and 21 inches long.

They placed the baby in my arms and I started to cry tears of joy. I looked up at Luke and said welcome to the world Bentley Thomas Bryan
