My life with Luke

Chapter 45

Brooke's POV

It all happened so fast. I had a millions thoughts running through my head when suddenly it all came to a screeching halt. I saw Luke fall to the ground lifeless. I ran to my phone and called 911. I ran back over to Luke with hopes of waking him up but as I shine his body nothing happened. I got no response from Luke. I was really starting to worry.

The paramedics showed up 10 minutes later to a still lifeless Luke. The paramedics started to check Luke out but with everything they checked only sad faces appeared. Something was wrong with Luke.

I called Blake to come over and watch the kids while I went the hospital with Luke. Blake arrived at the house within and record time and I was following behind the ambulance to the hospital.

As soon as we arrived, Luke was rushed back into emergency surgery. I ran as fast as I could to catch up to him but was stopped with a door slamming in my face and nurse yelling that I was not allowed back there.

Nobody could give me answers on what was wrong with my husband and my nerves were starting to get the best of me.

2 hours later....

A doctor finally came out with me to update me on Luke. Luke has the beginning stages of cardiovascular disease. His heart began palpitations which caused his body to go into shock and faint. Since this is foreign to Luke's body, his body fainted to protect his organs and the rest of his body.

I felt my heart begin to race and my stomach started to tighten. I don't think this is good!
