*Khalil's POV*
I wake up to a call from my cousin.
Incoming call from... Sisi💕❗️
I pick it up.
"Hello?"
"Come over. Now!" She has a stern voice. It starts to worry me.
"Wait, what's wrong?"
"No time to explain. Come over now. See you soon."
*doo doo doo* The call ends.
I check the time. I groan as I see its 11:30 in the night. Not to mention, my black eye and scarred face. I grab my mom's car keys and tell her where I'm going. I would drop anything for my cousin. She's blood. My mom merely looks up from her novel and nods her head. I head out the door to Sisi's house.
*time passes*
She calls me again.
"Hello? I'm 2 minutes away."
"Park near Princeton Park. My mom is up."
"Alright."
Sierra takes 5 minutes to get to where I am. She quickly enters the car. She looks at me deeply.
"What is it?" I ask her. She looks like she's been crying.
"M-my Dad was killed." She bursts into tears and I hold her into my arms.
"What? I thought he left." Did my mom know?
"I thought so too. My brother has been through so much without him. We all thought he was a deadbeat, but he truly loved us. He loved us until...until he died. Until he was murdered!" She wails into my chest.
"I'm so sorry Sisi. Please calm down. "Should I call Val?" I rub her back. I feel so sorry for her.
"No don't call Val. Thank you for being here for me." She wipes her tears and gets up.
"That's enough crying for one night. Now, we need to make everything right."
"How?"
"We need to find my father's killer."
