(Gwen's age: 16)

Ghost Spider limps towards her house. She had been fighting the Lizard and was a little banged up. Gwen had bruises head-to-toe and had a small gash on the right side of her abdomen. It wasn't too deep, but it still hurt and it still bled. As she stumbles into her home, Gwen is thankful her dads aren't home...or else they'd be freaking out.

"Good thing they'll be on that mission all weekend. Now...where's that first-aid kit?" Gwen thought out loud.

Gwen finds the first-aid kit and makes her way to the kitchen. She climbs onto the counter and sits next to the sink. Next, she removed the patch of webbing she used to keep from bleeding all over the place. Gwen uses a towel to apply pressure to her wound.

"I hope I don't get blood everywhere. That would be very hard to clean up." Gwen mutters to herself.

She takes a glance at her wound...its definitely going to need stitches. Suddenly, Gwen heard her front door open. Panic grips her, knowing she is still in her suit.

"Oh God...please don't be MJ, Glory, or Betty." Gwen gasped silently.

Though it wasn't any of Gwen's gal-pals, it was her best friend in the entire world.

"H-hi, Pete." Gwen smiled.

"Oh my God! Gwen! W-what happened to you?" asked Peter Parker...AKA...Spider-Man.

Peter rushes over to Gwen and starts rambling incoherently. Gwen pats his shoulder and tells him to calm down.

"But...you're bleeding!" Peter said.

"Oh this...tis but a scratch." replied Gwen.

"This is not the time to be quoting Shakespeare, Gwen." said Peter sternly.

"Oh relax, Pete, it's not that deep. All I need are a few stitches. You do know how to do that, right? Didn't Uncle Steve teach you?" Gwen said to her friend.

"Yeah, I do." nodded Peter.

"Good, can you do a girl a favor and stitch me up? I would do it myself, but my hands are starting to get a little shaky from blood loss." Gwen asked.

Peter agrees to help stitch up Gwen's injury. To close the wound, it took eight stitches.

"Ok, I'm done." Peter told Gwen.

"Thanks...Pete." Gwen grunted.

"Now we gotta disinfect it." said Peter.

"Man...this is going to hurt." Gwen cringed.

Peter grabbed a rag and put disinfectant on it. Before applying it to Gwen's wound, he asks her if she wants to hold his hand. Gwen nods and takes his hand in hers.

"Owwww." Gwen yelped as the disinfectant was applied to her wound.

"Owww." Peter yelped as Gwen crushed his hand.

After Gwen lets go of Peter's hand, he grabs some bandages and wraps her torso.

"There, good as new." Peter said.

"Hand me some pain meds, please." requested Gwen.

"Here you go, pal." Peter said handing Gwen some pain medication.

She takes the medication and leans back against the cabinets. Peter could now see just how tired and beaten she looked.

"Need any help getting to the couch?" Peter asked.

Gwen nods as her eyes start to droop. Peter gently carries her bridal-style to the couch and lays her down. He covers her with a blanket then cleans the mess in the kitchen. He's about to leave when Gwen mumbled something.

"What, Gwen?" Peter asked.

"Can you stay." Gwen said a little bit louder.

"Sure." Peter replied smiling.

He sits down on the edge of the couch and brushes Gwen's hair behind her ear. Soon, Gwen fell into a deep sleep. Peter sat by his best friend all night, keeping her company. Because of her accelerated healing, Gwen's wound was fully healed by the time her dads came back on Monday.
