I decided to be careful because I did not want my first friend to hate me and maybe because I had a crush on her. We followed Hagrid to the boats where we climbed in and sailed out to the castle where we followed him inside to a door were a witch or at least I assumed she was a witch was standing waiting for us. "Good evening first years" She started when we all gathered round her. "When you go through these doors you will get sorted into a house the houses are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin these houses will be your home your fellow classmates will be like your family following the rules and good behaviour will earn your house points and any rule-breaking will lose your house points. We will begin momentarily."

Once she walked off I began trying to remember everything I had read just in case. I managed to block most people out till a platinum blonde hair boy came over with two beefy looking kids in toe thought I was trying not to listen I heard that his name was Draco Malfoy and he was not being very nice at all. Draco started to insult the boys so I decided to step in. "Leave them alone." I said trying to sound brave. "Oh, who do you think you're talking to." He snapped seconds before professor McGonagall came back. "Follow me." She said swiftly walking through the big doors as they opened on there own. I assumed it was vire magic I looked up to see the night sky outside. When I looked around I realized there where hundreds of students sitting on four tables. On the left-hand side of me closest to the wall there where people wearing green and silver on the next table over there were people wearing blue and grey, the table next to me on the right as we walked past I noted they where wearing red and gold and the final table closes to the wall were wearing yellow and black like a bee. As we walked towards a table at the top full of teachers I saw Ron's older brothers as we passed them Ron told us there names. The twins are Fred and George their troublemakers then there is Percy he is a prefect then there are Bill and Charlie who have finished school then Ginny who will be coming next year.
