Harry Potter Year 1 at Hogwarts (Harry Potter x Reader)

First Class

((Y/N) P.O.V)

At about 2 am I woke up excited for the day ahead. So I quietly so not to wake the others got up and got dressed and went down to the common room to read and study when I realised someone was already there it was Harry he was awake and in his robes already. He was writing in his diary as I walked past I saw my name in the paragraph he was writing. "What are you writing?" I said surprised to see my name in his diary. He jumped and closed his book. "Oh, (Y/N) it is just you! you scared me!!" He said and I could hear his worry in his voice. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you and don't worry I didn't see much!!" I said cheerfully. "Couldn't sleep either could you?? It is so different here." He said cheering up. "Nah I just woke up I am so excited I only got an hour of sleep." I said yawning. "Oh, I didn't sleep I have been here all night." Harry said tiredly. "Well what have you been up to." I ask trying to make a conversation. "Nothing much just writing in my diary and thinking." he said. "What about?" I asked still trying to make a conversation.

(Harry P.O.V)

When (Y/N) asked I panicked because I didn't want to tell her I was thinking about her so I just said. "School and class and what they will be about." I think she could see I was lying but she did not ask any further question about it thank goodness. After a bit of talking (Y/N) started reading again so I got back to writing in my diary. 'Dear Diary, (Y/N) is so much more beautiful then I thought and she loves to talk she talks so much but that is OK because I love it. I can't believe she has been down here chatting with me for 4 hours' I finally looked up realising it was nearly breakfast time. "Hey (Y/N) I think we should head to breakfast." I said realising the time. "yea, probably." she said happily.

((Y/N) P.O.V)

When Harry told me it was time to head down to breakfast he got up and helped me pack up my books before we went down to breakfast together. When we got to breakfast it was already set up so we sat down and dished up. I had scrambled eggs and french toast and Harry had the same but had pumpkin juice with his meal. After we ate breakfast we got our timetable we both had the same classes, we had Defence Against The Dark arts first. We decided to head to class early so we ran to the classroom and sat outside talking and he pulled out his diary to write so I pulled out my Defence Against The Dark Arts book and went back to reading before the teacher came and opened the door so we went inside and sat down I pulled my quill and some parchment out and Harry pulled his parchment out. Before long the Gryffindors were joined by Slytherins. Professor Quirrell had decided on our first lesson we would find out a few things we would learn over the span of the next year and we had to write a small description of what it did. The first spell we would be learning about was Stupefy, I had already read all about it so I just went onto doing the others within 5 minutes, the next spell we would be learning was Expeliamas, then we would move onto the Mimblewimble curse (These are actually spells from Harry Potter) which was easy to explain once I had finished I went and gave my parchment to Professor Quirrell. "T-t-ten p-points t-to Griff-fend-dor." Professor Quirrell stumbled taking my parchment. 

(Harry P.O.V)

(Y/N) was done so fast so she went back to reading. "Excuse me (Y/N) can you help me I haven't read the book yet so I have no clue what to do?" Harry asked. "Sure I don't have anything better to do." She said looking over at my work before flipping to a page in her book before putting it down and going through the spells with me. After about 20 minutes we finally finished so I gave it to Professor Quirrell. "F-five p-points t-to Griff-fend-dor." he stumbled. Once I got back to my set I thanked (Y/N) before pulling my diary out and writing a paragraph before putting it away again and got my book out to read so I did not have to ask (Y/N) all the time. (Y/N) was the first out at the end of class and first to transfiguration which we had the second lesson and she was already reading her transfiguration book ready for class. (Y/N) was busy reading when professor McGonagall opened the door she got up and continued reading while she went and sat down. "Today I am just going to demonstrate the Entomorphis spell pronounced en-TOE-morph-is which is used to this is used to transform the target into an insectoid for a short period of time. Know would one of you like to come up and try it out." (Y/N) and Hermione's hands shot right up. "uh (Y/N) how about you come up and try." (Y/N) got up. "Good luck," I whispered as she walked to the front. "Entomorphis." (Y/N) exclaimed pointing her wand at the Rat that was on the desk. the rat turned into an insectoid, before turning back to a rat. "Marvales job (Y/N) 10 points to Griffendor."She said surprised she had managed so easily. "WOW, that was marvelas!!" I exclaimed as (Y/N) came and sat next to me.
