Harry Potter Year 1 at Hogwarts (Harry Potter x Reader)

Alanah, and Monty Cragg

(Y/n's P.O.V)
Dad and I walked up to the school. When we reached the school we went down to our room to unpack. Y/s/n was already sitting in an armchair near the fire place that had been lit casting a low light around the room casting monsteres shadows on the wall. If I was not used to it by now I would think it was creepy, but if I have learnt anything the past few months(since they started school) is Dad liked it dark and gloomy.

(Time skip to start of term)

I sat at the start of term feast. Hermione was sat next to me on my left, on my right sat Y/s/n, infront of me was Harry, infront of Hermione was Ron. Then Monty and Alanah were at the Ravenclaw table. From where I sat they were directly infront of us so I could see Alanah's shoulder langth brown hair and Monty's messy white and black hair the dye was coming off so you can see some of his origanal brown hair, they were smileing and laphing oblivious to anything else going on around them, oh how long ago it feels since I could do that.

(Severus' P.O.V)
While I ate my dinner I watched the girls Y/s/n was sat there talking to the golden trio while Y/n was staring at the Cragg twins with a frown apon her face. Oh how I miss her smile. She rarly smiles any more I mean if she is in a smily mood that gets ruined by a letter from unknown infact I should go talk to Albus once the girls have gone to bed to see if he has narrowed down the search to who was sending those notes. Once the feast is finished I walk over to the Gryffendor table. "Girls time to head back." I say in my usual monotone voice. The girls stand up and say goodnight to the golden trio before following me out. "What bored game should we play tonight?" I ask.
We seem to have started playing a bored game every night before bed.
"Can we play Monoply?" Y/s/n asked.
"Actually I am a bit tierd I might just go to bed." Y/n said.
"Alright but I will come cheek on you in a minute. Then Y/s/n you can watch a movie." I say as Y/n heads to her room. I set up the tv for Y/s/n before heading to the girls room. Knock knock
"Y/n can I come in?" I say knocking on the door.
"Yea, come in Dad." Y/n response came throught the door. I open the door and walk in. I see Y/n sat on her bed her book sat on the night stand next to her lamp and clock.

"Y/n I noticed that you weren't interacting with your friends and your sister today at dinner. You were staring at the Cragg twins with a look of want like you wanted what they had. Are you okay?" I ask sitting down on the end of her bed.

"Ofcourse I am Dad, just really tired that's all." She tried to lie but I could tell she was lieing she's to quite to not be and she's obviously sad.

"Y/n don't lie to me I know somethings wrong. I know your not tired your wide awake and if you were so tired you would not have been reading your book before I walked in." I said reading her mind.

"Dad stop reading my mind and I have already told you I am fine." She nearly shouted. I decided to leave it till tomorrow.

"Goodnight Y/n." I got up and left the room. I sat with Y/s/n untill she finished the movie and said goodnight. Once I went in to cheek on them. I went to go see the headmaster.

When I reached the headmastrs office I entered without knocking and walked over to his desk where he was sat writeing letters.

"uh Severus I assume you came to find out what I have worked out about the person writing the letters to Y/n am I correct?" Dumbledore said as I walked over to his desk.

"Yes Albus that is exactly why I came." I confermed his suspisions.

"Well I have not found out much yet but I am tring to work out who it is. All I know is the writer is a boy and a student, he was also not here over the holidays which narows it down to who wasn't here." He told me.

"If that is all I will be heading off." He nodded and I left.
