It was already late. The dance finished around eleven o'clock. Despite the rough start when Elsa first arrived, she was able to look past that. She has never felt more free in all her life. And she owes it to Jack. It's because of him she will always remember this night.
Currently, Jack is driving her back 'home.'
Elsa's stomach is in a tight knot the whole ride.
When Jack eventually stops in front of the house, she thanks her lucky stars that her father's truck isn't there. When they pull up on the sidewalk, Elsa opens the car door to leave. Just as she turns to thank Jack, he turns off the car and proceeds to hop out of the car.
Elsa mentally curses herself as Jack gets out to escort her to the front door.
He walks to the front porch and stops by the door.
"Are your parents asleep?" He asks.
All the windows seem dark. There aren't any signs that anyone is home. So she nods her head to his question.
It's cold enough that Elsa can see the fog forming over their every breath.
She grabs his hand and squeezes it. "Thank you, Jack," she whispers. "For tonight. I will always remember it."
Elsa will always remember how happy she felt when they danced. And while it was a rough start, it was amazing at the end.
Even when she's in a pit of darkness, this memory of them will always be the light at the end of the dark tunnel.
"You're most welcome," Jack breathes.
She glances at the full moon tonight. It catches a perfect light on them. It makes Jack's silver hair shine. He is the only one that has a unique color of hair.
Elsa has the urge to run her hands through it.
She failed to see how Jack closes in until their chests are almost against each other.
Elsa should be worried about doing this here.
But she doesn't.
Because she really, really wants to kiss him.
Jack leans it, "Is this okay?"
"Y-Yes." Great. I sound all flustered.
His face comes closer until his nose bumps against hers. His nose is freezing, no doubt just like hers. But she doesn't mind one bit.
Her body begins to act on instinct.
Elsa's hands fist his shirt as his mouth hovers over hers. She lets out a gasp when his hands cup her face.
And then they kiss.
Elsa was surprised she knew what to do. How to move. Which way to angle her head.
She groans into his mouth as Jack's hands bring her closer to him. As if he can't get enough. They move in sync with one another; both aware of the others move.
They break away for a second to get air, and they kiss again, more deeply.
Elsa's back arches slightly as his hands slide down her waist.
A minute or two later, they both break apart, panting.
And Elsa couldn't help but laugh. Jack either.
"I don't want today to end," he tells her.
"Me either."
"I know it's Winter Break and everything, but we'll hang out. Okay? I promise," Jack states, determination in his eyes.
"Alright."
He looks at the closed door and asks, "Will your parents be mad that your home late?"
Elsa shakes her head.
"Should I explain to them–"
"No!" She blurts out.
Jack looks at her with a raised brow.
She quickly comes up with a lie. "They're asleep. I-It's fine. Promise."
"Okay. Fine. I'll go."
He makes no move to leave. As if he want to be at her side all night.
"I'll call you tomorrow," Jack promises.
"I'll be here."
He smiles at her one more time. He leans in and gives her a quick peck on her lips.
"Bye."
"Bye."
His brushes his hand against her cheek before heading back to his car. Elsa quickly opens the door and steps in.
It's pitch black inside.
She moves to a window and watches as Jack drives away.
Alone in the house, she runs up the stairs and goes into her room. She locks the door and turns on the small lamp.
She plops down the bed, her hand over her heart. Elsa didn't notice how hard and fast it was beating; an effect the kiss had on her
Despite where she was, Elsa couldn't help but smile. She grabs her pillow and drapes it over her face as she squeals.
That kiss was....amazing. Her first real kiss.
It was not her first kiss however.
Instantly, her smile faded.
What would Jack say or do if he found out about her life? How many men she's....slept with?
He'd be disgusted. And he most likely wouldn't have touched her, let alone kiss her.
Elsa is filthy. She's had men kiss her, have sex with her. And she's been forced to do things in return–
No. She can't think of this now. Elsa had a great time today. And that's how she wants the night to end.
So, after changing out of her dress and into some warm nightclothes, she turns off the lamp and lays down.
It took her a while to fall asleep. And this time, she didn't have a single nightmare.
