"Italy?!" Germany called pushing his way into the forest, he saw Italy's boot stuck in mud just outside of the forest, so he must have gone in. "Italy! If you can hear me call out to me!" He listened but no response returned. He went deeper hoping to find a trail that Italy took. He plowed through the forest, leaving a trail to follow back after he found Italy. He found a small trail, and found bootprints on it, only one foot had a boot. "This must be Italy's trail.." He also saw flower petals scattered throughout the trail. He followed it further finding a boot and socks. "These are Italy's. I hope he's ok.." He saw the trail turn right, and followed it to a clearing. There were vines, covering the trees and parts of the floor. "If Italy got stuck in these vines..." His sentence came to a stop and he shook his head. "He's fine..." He looked in the vines, in the far right of the clearing there was a lump in the vines, on the ground. "Oh no, please don't let that be him.. If it is, don't let him be dead..." He ran over to the lump and started to tear off the vines. He spotted blue under the vines. He tore it off faster, tears starting to come to his eyes. He tore it off enough to see it was Italy. He started to get Italy out away from the vines. "Italy.. Don't.. Please don't be dead.." He carried Italy out of the clearing and he followed the path he widened. When he got out of the forest, he checked Italy's pulse and breathing, his heartbeat was still there but very slow, and his breaths were short and shallow. He hugged Italy, "Please wake up... Please be ok.." It was already the middle of the day when they got back. He ruffled his hair a bit. "I know I didn't tell you, but I do love you.." Tears started to stream down his cheeks. "I'm sorry if that's why you left... Don't leave me.." He listened closely to Italy, and heard the slightest "Ti amo.."
