Demons of the past

Fighting my best student was the hardest thing to do becuase she knew most of the moves that I used when I was alive but each time we clashed she was losing the will to fight because of the force and made a fatal mistake of trying to disarm me by wrapping the whip around the blade and hilt of Chikaga but soom realised what she did when my blood started slowly making its way down the blade extending it to the two handed trick weapon and so I closed the distance and charged her using the upper sword style so I sent a straight thrust towards her peirceing her heart making her release the whip out of shock. eventually she fell to her knees losing feeling to some of her limbs but she didn't die so quickly as I kept the sword in her heart and picked up the whip placing it around her neck like a scarf "you didnt deserve this neither of you but knowing what you were told by those bastards you wouldnt believe me even if I told you the truth" I told her kneeling to her level only to receive her spit "long live the healing church you devil" she said accepting her fate "not a devil just a demon" I responded pulling the whip slicing her neck apart so the whip came back and turned into the cane form by my side. waing a second later blood started flowing all around her head but she kept the face which was one of hate and sadness "you two will have a better life on the other side of this hell" I said taking the whip leaving the Chikaga in her heart "what have you done" I heard the hunter shout from behind me probably at the foot of the stairs.

"I am relasing these poor souls from their torment from this nightmare dear hunter" I responded walking forward to the alter and notices that it was acting as a elevator up "why, I though you were here to stop the nightmare" the hunter shouted running over to the girls "don't bother they are dead and won't be coming back to this place along with Ludwig if you ended his torment" I said placing the eye pendant in the corpse's head and felt the alter start to rise up"don't follow hunter for it may be you that I release from this nightmare next" I threatened him getting a reaction showing that he was reluctant to follow. When the lift finally came to a stop I was greeted by the sight of something I wish never happened the research hall where the healing church first started to experiment with the blood using their own members of that damn church of course I was only just kept in the loop and was invited to see the leep of 'evoltion' that those poor villagers went through but them being here means that must have died at somepoint since i've been here and guessing from how far up this is and from the world location the Astral clocktower should be just above me.

I decided to use the whip to my advantage and whipped locations that were further away from me so that I didn't draw attention to myself and kept a swift pace to the top where I ended up and flipped the switch making the staircase raise and opened the doorway to the gardon path where things used to be better.

"so Zeke I hear that you were attacked by another blood drunk hunter today" Maria mentioned next to me while we sat together with her head resting on my shoulder "it was bishop Jamerson he was leading this hunt when he started killing some beasts he accidentily killed a little girl who was amongest them and then snapped back trying to kill us calling this whole plague problem on us the poor sod" I mentioned back recounting the event "did you get hurt dear" Maria said while letting me play with her long white hair "no but another hunter was not so lucky we ended up burning his body along with the others but it just seems like the more we burn the more that pop back up and multiply" I said while resting my head againtst the barrier "I think its time we get back to the other don't you Zeke" Maria said trying to get up but could'nt because of the way she was laying on me.

(back to the present)

I was greeted by the sight of the hunter who had finally made it past me and was killing some of the experiments that were left in the garden and after he ran up to me but stopped when he was two feet infront of me "you must pay for your crimes" the hunter yelled while readying his weapon but I didn't bother "I don't think I told you but me and lady Maria where together in secret" I told him while making my way towards the clocktower "really?" the hunter question "yes we used to sit up here and chat away when ever we could but that was years long ago" I mentioned while looking over towards the town below "hunter can I ask of a favor" I asked while taking out my notebook and talismen "I suppose you can" the hunter responded lowering his weapon "take my notepad and my hunter talismen then come go back to the hunters dream for a while maybe chat with whats ever there I need to do this alone" I said turning around and giving him the items "but you said we will end this together" the hunter sounded confused and upset "I need to speak with her alone and if she attacks me then so be it, I can never bring myself to hurt her no matter what she may do or think of me" I said while the hunter started backing away towards the lantern "but you will die if you do not carry your hunters mark with you"  the hunter persisted but I just gave him a smile "if I do then I go for a better cause because then I will die not just as a martyr but as a hunter who has fufilled his duties to his best existence so please give me this hunter I beg of you" I said while embracing him in a hug.
