Back to Allie's Point of View

"Why have I not been here before?"

"I tried to tell you."

"Yeah, well I'm definitely coming back."

I take the last bite of my burger, almost dying from how good it tastes. Adrian stares at me, unconsciously playing with his lip ring. I swallow, sipping from my coke. He doesn't say anything and I bite my lip, nervously.

I see something flicker in his eyes. An emotion, but as soon as I see it, it's gone. He shakes his head and looks back at me and then at my plate. "Damn, you must've really liked that burger."

I blush, nodding. "I told you." His eyes flicker down to my lips and he stands, throwing some money on the table.

"Yeah, I guess you did." he says almost absentmindedly. "Come on let's go." He grabs my hand and leads me out of the door. We get into his truck and he pulls out.

I turn to look at Adrian and my and stomach does a flip. His dark brown hair is falling into his eyes partially covered by a purple beanie. He flicks it out of the way impatiently with his long, slender fingers. His eyes are different from anybody else's though.

They draw me in and make me want more. His perfectly straight nose that's dotted with small freckles. His lips are thin but no too thin.

He keeps playing with his lip ring and it's bothering me. I look at his tattoo again.

"Who are they?" I blurt out. His eyes flicker to me before going back to the road.

"Who?" His voice comes out husky and deep and my heart flutters.

That was hot.

I shake my head furiously, while fighting off a blush. No, bad Allie! Sit down and behave, your teenager is acting up.

He coughs. "Who?" His voice comes out normal, but now I've forgotten my question.

"I...uhm...uh, nevermind." He smirks and I look at the time.

"Oh crap! I forgot I have to pick up Mickey." I pat my pockets for my phone but Adrian stops me.

"It's fine, just tell me where his school is." I look at him doubtfully but tell him anyways. He nods. "I know where that is."

I stare out the window, memories of Dean and my dad clashing together.

"Here, Allie Bee, is your first guitar pick." I looked at it in wonder. "What is it for?" My dad laughs. "Picking guitar strings." I laugh with him.

Suddenly the scene changes and I'm no longer in the music shop but in Dean's house this time, much older. I cringe back as he comes storming over to me. "You dirty little slut, I can't believe you lied you piece of shit!" I reach out for him and he jerks arm away. "I thought you loved me." His voice is low now. I'd rather have him scream. "I do."

His eyes glaze over with lust and he smashes his lips against mine. "Then show me." I pull back, disgusted. "Dean, stop."

"Who's Dean?"

I blink, looking back at Adrian. We're in the parking lot of Mickey's school. "Um, nobody." I open the door and climb of the truck, avoiding his questioning gaze. With his long strides Adrian catches up with me in no time and grabs my hand, intertwining my fingers with his.

I look up at him stunned as my heart starts to beat faster. He bends down next to my ear whispering, "Your hands were shaking." His voice is husky and deep again, and he smirks.
