I wake up to the sound of knocking, I look around to see I'm in my stall. "Hey sleepy head! C'mon!" I hear ren say, he has some buckets and staffs "w-what time is it?" I ask getting up "7:00am, we gotta get going before everyone wakes up!" I look confused then I realise what he's talking about,chores. I open the door of my stall and walk towards him,he hands me a staff and two buckets as we start walking. No one was awake yet, I look around at the paddocks occasionally seeing a sleeping centaur or other animal. The sun was barely up, I don't know why but ren always liked early mornings. "So we should be there by 8:00!" He says happily trotting,I nod still walking slightly behind him. "So did you hear?" He asks "I'm hearing a really annoying voice right now, yeah" I say, he looks back at me with a slightly annoyed face "fine, what did you want to tell me?" I say, he smiles again "well, a show is coming up and people are saying that some of the girls from the girl's farm are going to be there!" He says, I groan "why are you so excited about that?" He shrugs "I'm a very social person." He says simply.
That I can't argue with, we continue to walk until we stop at a lake. We put all the buckets and stuff down, SPLASH! I spin around to see ren swimming "Ren! We're supposed to be collecting water! Not swimming in it!" He looks at me "it'll help with your sunburns from yesterday! Just get in!" He says, I look at my reddish shoulders and reluctantly walk into the water. I look around but can't see ren "you can't be serious Ren." I say soaking my shoulders which were starting to feel better "HA!" I look up to see standing on a huge rock ledge about five metres high next to the water with ren standing on it "ren. Don't. You. Dare." He smirks "CANNONBALL!" He jumps in! SPLASH!
