Whenever we would randomly see each other,
We would accidentally share a glance every now and then.
It wasn't much.
A fragment of a second.
That was all.
Though I wished it was more than just a simple glance.

My distance has been kept.
Initially it wasn't supposed to happen, but what could i've done? That girl was set on ignoring my presence. Especially the day I confronted the deceiver.
All simply because she doesn't want to face the hidden truth.
So why keep pestering her when she doesn't want to be bothered?
These past weeks, the only thing we occasionally shared would be a simple glance when we passed each other in the corridor.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
At least she's aware of my presence. Except that doesn't help much since Mia has been purposely avoiding me.
Which truthfully is leaving me at my limit.

Speaking of Mia, there she is.
Lost in the moment as she's standing at the very edge of this rooftop. Where it's strictly prohibited for any student to trespass .
How did she manage to get up here?
"Another step and you're going to plummet into a miserable end." I casually say.
Startled Mia rapidly glances over her shoulder. From what I could put together within this limited time, my appearance is still surprising. Or perhaps she's probably thinking about how I ended up here.
Either way, it wasn't a challenge noticing her empty eyes that share the same mood with the clouded sky.
About to slip a tear.
She steps down not uttering a single word. Ignoring me once again. All while hiding that pained expression behind her dark hazelnut hair she's using as a shield.
She's really set on not mumbling a single word.
Before she could slip away, I firmly took a hold of her elbow. "Are you planning on running away every time we coincidentally meet?"
