10 - Melbourne

Lani's P.O.V.

Tom is here! In Australia! No scrap that, in Melbourne! Even better.... He is standing at the door of my classroom! 

"What are you doing here?" I ask him, slightly confused, yet happy to see him. I wasn't quite sure that i could stand being away from him for an entire week.

"So i need a reason to see the one I love? What has the world come to?" By this time, Timothy had walked back inside and joined 3 of the other boys in my class. I gave him a smile and then hugged him. Tight.

"I'm glad your here. Really. But i can't talk now. If you can wait another half hour then i'm all yours." He smiled as i said this, making my heart do flips. "You don't mind waiting do you?"

"Not at all. I'll go and sit near the office again and wait for you." I smile this time.

"Awesome. See you in half an hour." He gives me a quick kiss on the lips and then walks out and heads towards the front office. I shake my head and close the door and attend to my class.

------- 30 MINUTES LATER -------

That was the longest 30 minutes i think i've ever had to go through. As soon as that last bell went it took all the self-control that i still possessed to stay put until the last student had left the room.

As soon as that last student left i gathered up my things and made my way quickly to the front office. I entered the room and immediately Tom was on his feet and i ran to him and hugged him tightly. He swung me around a few times and when we were back at a stand still i pressed my lips to his. 

I would have kept my lips against his had someone not cleared their throats. I pulled back and blushed when i saw Sammy standing there with a smug grin on her face. 

"Sammy, I want you to meet Tom. My boyfriend. Tom this is Sammy. I'm staying with her while i'm here." Tom reached out to shake her hand which she accepted. 

"Its nice to meet you Sammy." I felt like jelly when i heard his voice.

"So your the famous Brit who stole Lani's heart." Tom just nodded with a smile. "Well, its nice to meet you officially." Tom raised an eyebrow and looked at me.

"She didn't think that you were really my boyfriend." I explained. 

"Well, i can assure you that I am very real." He looked back at Sammy and i saw her smile again. 

"Well I'm going to head home Sammy. I'll catch up with you later."

"See ya Layla, you two behave." I rolled my eyes at the use of my pet name, that i will only allow Sammy to call me. I shot her a look and she quickly looked away while trying to hold in laughs.

"I don't know if i'll be home for dinner so i'll see you when i get back." I shouted as I walked out of the door with Tom right beside me. "So where are you staying?"

"I found a place about 15 minutes from here. I'm staying there. I guess my surprise worked though didn't it." He wrapped an arms around my shoulders and pulled me close to his side before planting a kiss on the top of my head. I giggled like a little schoolgirl and i'm sure I am blushing yet again.

"Well at least you found a place. I would offer for you to stay with me and Sammy but i don't know how she would feel about that."

He laughed his famous 'ehehe' laugh as we got into my..... ok it wasn't really, my car. It is one of Sammy's. But i'm driving it while i'm here so it is mine. A black Ford Shelby GT500 with red racing stripes. A pretty cool car if you ask me.

"You know i never thought of you driving a car like this." I raised an eyebrow at him as I reversed out of the parking space. "Don't take offense to that, its just most women seem to go towards the.... less 'souped up' cars." I shake my head playfully at him.
