"Mom, Dad, Lynelle, this is Emily Dela Cruz, my friend I met at the mall. No one's at their house right now so can she stay here for a while? She lives across the street." Darren says,
"Of course she can! She is beautiful." His mother says.
"Thank you, po."
Darren's family is so sweet and manner full. Wow.
I sat on the couch and Lynelle came and gave me a big hug.
"You're the best." Lynelle says to me.
I was really confused why she said that.
But you know, just go with the flow.
"Aw thank you Lynelle! How am I the best, though? You haven't met me before."
"You make my kuya happy, so I am happy. Whenever kuya Darren is happy, it always makes me so happy too, Darren is the best brother ever and I love whatever he does. He loves you-"
"WOAH SLOW DOWN." I said.. calmly. "Darren doesn't love me."
Lynelle must've been so interested about him to find out all this.
"Of course he does! He talks about you all the time, ate! And he's always smiling and blushing whenever he talks about how pretty, funny-"
"Okay Lynelle! That's enough ha ha ha...."
Darren comes out of no where, all blushing and embarrassed. What?!
"Psh..she..doesn't know what..she's talking..about.." He says to me.
"Oh okay.. I know."
Um. HELLO?! Whatever with a capital W!
Darren actually loves me?
That can't be. That doesn't sound right.
There's a lot of things about Darren that I don't know..
And I'm gonna find out.
