When I Met Him

Together

~~~~~~ The Next Day, 1:30 p.m ~~~~~~

It's almost time to hang out with Darren! What do I wear?!

I put on a cute shirt with a microphone on it with some high waisted shorts and converse.

I walked to the mall and noticed Darren wasn't there.

I saw an empty chair and sat down while I waited for him.

5 minutes passed.

My eyes got covered and I heard a "Guess Who?"

It was Darren!

"For you." he said blushing as he handed me a rose.

"Aw Darren. Thank you!" I said blushing.

I felt bad not getting anything for him. So I told him that I was going to treat him to ice cream. He didn't want me to pay but I insisted.

We sat at the ice cream parlor enjoying our treats.

"I like him. I like Darren. But he'd never like me." I thought to myself.

"So what shall we do next?" He asked. Wanna watch a movie?

"Sure. Which movie?" I let him pick just because I didn't want him to not like a movie I picked.

"It Takes A Man And A Woman is on. How about that?" He said.

"Sure! I love filipino movies! I'll pay."

"Emily you don't have to pay. I'll pay."

"It's fine Darren. Two tickets to It Takes A Man And A Woman please."

"Seven dollars."

I took out my wallet and handed the lady a ten. However at the same time Darren took out a ten as well and our hands met while handing our money.

And so did our eyes.

We both smirked and blushed.

"Allow me to pay." he winked and said sweetly. "Keep your money."

I smiled. Yup. I really do like Darren.
