~~ Hi, just one thing before you start reading, could you please like, tell me if something doesn't make sense? As in, grammar, punctuation and stuff. Thank you! :)

And I'm very, very sorry for not updating earlier. I'm especially sorry for my two friends that kept nagging me in school to finish it and to hurry up and update - you people know who you are.

Thanks again! I hope you'll enjoy this and please leave some feedback :D

The natural and completely normal reaction to something scary and unexpected in unfamiliar environments is, quite simply, to scream. Scream as loud as you possibly can. We cool kids combine this with a lot of swearing.

"Oh my fucking god!" Kate screeched, jumping up from the ground and promptly running against a tree before then proceeding to hop around panicky and screaming when she touched something or someone.

Let me tell you that the rest of us didn't behave any better.

"Every one quieten down!" the old ladies voice boomed, shocking us back to reality and bringing us to a stillstand.

"For gods sake, what is it with you wimps? Get a grip on yourself, will you? You're all fifteen and sixteen. Stop acting like little kids or deers in headlights." She scolded us.

Luke cleared his throat and shifted on his feet, accidentally bumping into me. "sorry!" he mouthed, grimmassing an apologetic grin that looked more like a baring of teeth. I just shook my head in return, indicating that it's fine before huddling closer to Leo ok the other side of me and turning my attention back to the scene infront of me, where, in the meantime, a jungle of woven green ladders that lost itself in the canopy of the forest around us and a crowd of people in forest green and brown, light clothing appeared.

Obviously I've spaced out.

Don't ask me how.

My little group of friends suddenly moved forwards to Aloisa and the unknown people, tugging me along with them. Soon I was standing infront of one of the ladders, abandoned by my friends and next to one of the people in the camouflage shirts.

"You listened?" the little man who just reached my nose, chewing around on something ZÄH over and over again asked me, motioning to the tightly woven strings that swayed infront of me.

"Um.." I started, staring dubiously at the ladder. I could guess why I had to do, seeing as the crowd around me all started scaling the lianes with rehearsed moves.

The old man whose name I didn't know sighed dramatically and shot me an exhale rated look before stating the obvious.

"Signoronota, could you start climbing?"

"Uh um, sure. I guess. Why not?" I stuttered, gripping the first step.

The whole constellation started swaying precariously.

"You know what -" I started before getting shushed by a harsh handmovement of the man.

"Climb." he ordered, glaring at me.

Rude much.

Sighing I obliged. Not hat I could have done anything else.

Squeezing my eyes shut and gritting my teeth I reached up a shaking hand to grasp the next step.

I can do this.

I chanted to myself, turning it into a mantra of mine.

I can do this.
