The group decided to spend the night over the beach. Or river. Of course a ship in the middle of the river/beach wasn't a thing that could be easily ignored but they decided to deal with it tomorrow. They knew people were there living but for one night, they wanted to be without any problems.

Everyone but Hope and Jordan were sitting at the sand, in circle, talking and making some inside jokes.

"You okay?" He asked her as they walked through the sea shore.

"Yes. Just tired." She shrugged, looking away.

"You know you could prove them that you're not like your parents." He tried to cheer her up.

"And living by people's expectations that I'm going to do good, Jordan? I can't do that. I won't do that." She sighed.

"You need to let someone in, Hope. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but eventually."

"I got you." She smiled a little and he nodded a little. "Go be with them. Share some stories."

"Will you be okay?" Jordan asked a little sad but she smiled to him.

"Have you met me?" She joked and kept walking, leaving him behind.

After walking almost across the whole beach, she sat in the middle of the sand and she looked to the water. First day on earth, done. She survived and learned how to swim. An improvement. Everything was calmed until Bellamy sat next to her. Of course he had to come.

"You could join us, you know?"

"I'm good here." She replied, not looking at him. Though he was looking at her.

"You're alone, Hope. How are you better here than there?"

"Because I don't like to be gathered by people." She mumbled shrugging.

"I understand that. I talked with Echo and Clarke.."

"No way!" She looked at him, and for the first time he heard her laugh. "Why would you destroy my entertainment like that?" She joked.

"Ah, funny." He grumbled. "I guess I did a lot of thinking while I was asleep. Plus, now you don't have nothing against me. To control me." He joked and she smirked a little.

"I still have power over you. According to Jordan and Octavia."

"Only according to them? What about you?"

"I don't comment." She shrugged. "But anyways how did they react?"

"Well, I told them I couldn't be with any of them because I was too messed up and they didn't deserve that."

"Never took you for a gentleman." She laughed softly, looking to the sea. "You did the right thing."

"I'm sorry you didn't brought your mom." He said lower and she shrugged slow.

"It's not like she'll miss me. Or recognize me."

"Don't lose faith. Come join us.."

"Why, Bellamy? Either there or here I'm alone so, mind as well actually be." She shrugged playing around with the sand. "You don't have to be here, you can leave."

"I know."
