few years later ||mitch 14||kirstin 15||

mitch and kirstin have gotten a lot closer now. they now go to the same academy, especially after he came out to kirstin, which made things much better. mitch still had the same feelings, but he knew he would never be able to be with the "new kid".

mitch was deep in thought when he felt a nudge on his shoulder "hey mitch!" kirstin was standing in front of him "..hey kirstie!", kirstin giggled knowing the she probably startled mitch.

kirstin sat next to mitch during lunch, it was a routine they did. kirstin noticed that mitch was in his thoughts, again, and decided to start conversation "so, mitch, how were your classes?" since kirstin doesn't have classes with mitch until after lunch, she always asks how it went "they were okay, reading was a drag, but besides that, everything was good!"

mitch and kirstin talked and talked, giggling ever so often. the bell soon rang, which meant they needed to start heading to class. they both got their bags, threw their trash away, and started walking out the cafeteria.

as they were walking, and talking obviously, someone bumped into mitch making him fall, obviously kirstin got upset about it and turned around to see who it was, she saw a tall blonde, with ocean blue eyes, staring at her scared "were you the one who knocked down my friend?" the blonde stood there scared and worried "uh, hello?!?" a few seconds later he nodded, kirstin ignored the blonde for a while to pick mitch up from the floor once mitch was on his feet the blonde came up to him with a familiar looking boy behind him

mitch couldn't believe it, it was him! he looked about the same, except he had a different hair cut than before. how didn't he notice they went to the same academy?

"i'm sorry about my friend, we were kinda rushing to class...are you okay...um?" the brown haired boy asked, obviously very worried for mitch

"mitch! and yes i'm fine, thanks for asking, and it's okay, i understand, i used to accidentally push some kids cause i wanted to rush to class as well" mitch reassured the worried boy "what's y'all name anyways?"

"oh you said y'all, i haven't heard that in a while!" the blonde responded "i'm scott, sorry again, mitch! and this is my friend beau" scott patted beau's shoulder as he introduced him

kirstin decided to join back on this conversation "well i'm kirstin! you can call me kirstie or kirst, and as you now know, that is mitch, we've been friends for awhile now" mitch nodded as kirstin explained

the warning bell rang which told them to hurry to class "well, we stay a bit after school, so would y'all like to hang out with us?" kirstin asked starting to like the two boys "sure why not" scott replied earning a huge smile from kirstin and mitch as well "well, we'll see y'all soon!" kirstin replied waving off to the two boys

mitch and kirstin arrived to class immediately and they went to their seats, which were next to each other "they were nice, even though i almost killed them, but that's fine" mitch nodded "yea, they were nice..." kirstin noticed mitch starting to blush "oooh mitch's has a crush?" mitch soon realized what kirstin said and hushed her immediately "i'll tell you later, when no one is really around us okay!" kirstin sighed "okay, but you HAVE to tell me, promise?" kirstin stuck out her pinky to make the promise official, mitch crossed pinkies with kirstin officially making the promise
