Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time in a beautiful kingdom lived a king and queen. King Ray and his wife, Queen Maya, were expecting their first born child soon.

On the night the child was born, the queen died shortly after the birth, leaving her newborn baby girl with her husband, but before she died, the queen named her daughter, Nya.

Ten years pasted and Nya was growing up to be a kind and loving person, just like her mother. It was also during this time that her father had married another woman named, Dilara. Then, about three months after the marriage, King Ray died.

Dilara didn't care at all for Nya, but only being the fairest in the land. She had a magic mirror that could tell her almost anything, but what she said most to the mirror was "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" And for years the mirror would say in a silky voice "Oh my queen can't you see, you are the fairest by any means."

That was until six years after the king died. Nya had just turned sixteen and was the kindest person in the kingdom, and the most beautiful.

One day, Dilara went to her chambers and stood in front of her magic mirror and asked "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"

She was expecting the usual answer, but instead the mirror said "Although fair my queen may be, there is a maiden fairer that the."

The queen was angered at this answer and said "Revile the name of this girl." The mirror answer back "With beautiful charming brown eyes, ruby red lips, and hair as black as night, the girls name is Nya White."

Dilara was so angry that it was a miracle that she didn't explode. She looked out her window to see Nya sitting by the well, reading a book.
The girl was in her way of being the fairest in the land, and she needed a way to get rid of her. She closed the curtains and looked in another mirror. Suddenly an idea came to her, and she allowed and big smile to grow on her face. She just need the right person for the job.
