"What do you mean she 'used' magic on him?" Mia asked as we stood by our lockers.
"I mean, she used magic on him." I replied. She sighed and poked me.
"Hey!"
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head on the bed frame too hard when you were with Namjoon? You're talking crazy, you realize that right? Or do I need to admit you into a mental institution?" She said, flicking my forehead before turning back to her locker. I winced and rubbed the spot she hit and closed my locker.
"Not funny. My uncle's schizophrenic." She rolled her eyes and closed her locker too.
"I'm sure."
"Mia, magic is real. Well, witchcraft."
"Prove it."
"How?!"
Mia shrugged.
"Use your 'magic'." I facepalmed.
"It doesn't work like that." I said, growing impatient as she took longer to believe me.
"Hm. Well, if you're such an expert on it, why don't you tell me how it works then?"
"Mia, what is up with you?"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"You're being.."
"What?"
I sighed and didn't finish that sentence.
"Nevermind. I have a plan. "
"Oh really? And what's your plan?" She asked, resting most of her weight on one hip. I explained it to her and she eventually gave in, if only to keep me quiet about it.Turns out, becoming friends with your ex best friend is a lot harder than it looks.
"Hey Anna." I said, walking up to Annalise. She raised a groomed brow in my direction, the most acknowledgement I would get.
"So I uh... I know your birthdays coming up.."
"Get on with it."
"Could I host a birthday party for you at your house?" I asked, the words sliding off my tongue like pre prepared cut word magnets. Annalise looked at me before slowly nodding her head.
"Fine. I'll get you the list of Necessities by tomorrow." She said, walking off. I blinked.Necessities?
