~Emma's POV~

It's been a couple of weeks since I got stuck in bayverse and got to know Sam. I can easily say that he's become a good friend as well as Miles, even if I sometimes feel like smashing the latter's head against a wall. Today was the day Sam was giving his report. I sent him two thumbs up as he stood at the front of the classroom and he smiled at me before turning his bag upside down so everything falls out. Papers, maps, pictures and a whole lot of other stuff fell out.

'Oh, Sam.' I facepalmed.

"Sorry, I got a lot of stuff." Sam mumbled and I sighed while the others laughed at him.

"For my family-"

My eye twitched in annoyance as a rubber band hit Sam, and of course I know exactly who it was. I turned around and sent Trent a glare before turning back to look at Sam.

"Okay, who did that!? Responsibility people!" The teacher shouted. A little late if you ask me.

"Okay, for my family genealogy report I did it on my great-grandfather, Captain Archibald Witwicky." I tuned Sam out for the rest of the class.

'Should I go to the party?' I wondered. 'I do not want to see Trent's ugly face, but Sam might make me go anyway so I may as well not fight. Besides, I really want to--' The sound of the bell ringing brought me out of my thoughts.

"Was I spacing out for that long?" I wondered as the students rushed to leave this hell chamber, but not before the teacher sent everyone one last message.

"Okay, might be a pop quiz tomorrow. Might not. Sleep in fear tonight!" I snorted at his comment before looking back at Sam, and of course he's still trying to sell his crap. I sighed and leaned against the door frame.

When we finally walked out of the school, I walked with Sam towards his dad's car. After greeting Mr. Witwicky, I got into the car while waiting for Sam to finish talking with his dad. When they're done, Ron drove us to the dealer.

"I've got a surprise for you." Ron said, a smirk clear as day on his face. We turn into a Porsche dealership, and that's when Sam gets excited.

'Dude, there is no way he's getting you a Porsche as your first car.' I thought, shaking my head as I remembered this scene in the movie.

"What kind of..." Sam trailed off as he noticed the sleek cars around us. "No, no, no, no, dad! You've got to be kidding me!" Sam yelled excitedly and Ron laughs.

"Yeah, I am. You're not getting a Porsche." Ron said between chuckles.

'I still can't believe he fell for that.' I sighed and facedpalmed.

"You think that's funny?" Sam demanded.

"Yeah, I think it's funny." Ron laughed again and I pressed my lips into a thin line to keep myself from laughing at Sam's reaction because that would be, like legit, not cool.

"What's wrong with you?" Sam asked with a glare.

"Did you really think I would get you a Porsche for your first car?" Ron asked him.

"I don't want to talk to you for the rest of this thing." He whined, sinking lower into his seat.

As we drive into the new dealership, I noticed the dude wearing a clown suit, complaining about his makeup melting.

'This'll be fun.' I thought and hopped out of Ron's car.
