Chapter Five

Toby groaned as he opened his eyes to see two blue eyes looking at him, one dark blue and the other light, he sat up stiffly studying the beautiful she-cat in front of him and he smirked: "well hello there beautiful, where out of StarClan did you fall from?" The black and white she-cat looked flustered for a moment then hissed through her teeth "don't you dare call me that again" then Toby felt himself be tackled to the ground "Toby your awake! Don't you ever go doing something that ever again!" Toby sighed slightly "well hello to you too Stormy" the orange and black tabby tom pushed Stormy off of him gently to see a grey spiked furred cat, with snow leopard spots of her pelt, watching the whole interaction between the two friends with emotionless leaf green eyes, Toby whispered to Stormy "please tell me you know who this is, if not then we're dead" the smaller grey she-cat smiled "don't worry this is Spiky, she is the one who saved me and then one who leads this clan" Toby felt his heart soar "a clan! See Stormy what did I tell you!" He started jumping like a kit "we are going to be clan cats!" Stormy slapped him with her paw "are you crazy! Our house folk are going to be worried and we could never survive out here!" with that the spiky stepped forward "I am willing to make y'all two an offer" she looked at Toby "I could let y'all become clan cats or return you to your house folk" Stormy hurriedly stepped forward "we want to go back to ou..." Toby stepped on her tail "come on Stormy we are never going to have a chance like this ever again" Stormy's eyes filled with tears "but...but I can't survive out here, you might but I can't" Toby shook his head "I wouldn't let anything happen to you I promise" Stormy looked at him, eyes full of fear, then she sighed and looked back at Spiky "I guess we will stay here" Spiky smiled a toothy grin "I thought so now come y'all need to fight to see your ranks" Toby's jaw dropped "fight are you serious!?!" Spiky looked at him "do I look like I'm kidding?"
