Changed

New neighbours

Finally! The first day back is over. It is such a relief to hear the last bell of the day, it would be even better if I could just teleport home and end up on my lounge but let's not get to ahead of ourselfs. I say goodbye to Arron and Brooke who are going to the grill to "study", Isaac isn't catching the bus because he has lacrosse and Candice is going shopping with her mum. So I guess that leaves Matt and I.

We hop on the bus sitting second from the back and suddenly decide that Matt should come over to my place. We arrive at my bus stop and start to walk back to mine.

As we are walking I see someone walking towards us that looks really familiar. We are about 10 houses away from mine and as I get closer I realize it's Tessa, Llewelyn's sister! She turns down the pathway into the house right next to mine. It took me a while to realize, but eventually I did. She was my new neighbour!

Matt and I arrive at my house and nobody else is home like usual. Aunty Rachel is still at work and Laurie and Bella have swimming after school on Wednesdays with Matts sister. Just me and Matt. Alone. For two hours.

As I expected after 30 minuets of being home we are up in my room making out. It's nothing new, same old business. Of corse until I take my cardigan off and Matts shirt comes off. Wow I forgot how good Matts body was I think to myself.

All is going well until I hear the front door open and hear Rachel's voice along with a not so familiar one. Quickly Matt and I get our clothes on and hurry down stairs to greet Rachel and act like we weren't just making out.

"Oh hey Matt" Rachel says while putting down the groceries on the kitchen bench. "Come in" she says talking to the person at the door. I peer my head over the couch to look into the kitchen to see Tessa, stepping right into my house.

"That's the new chick right?" Matt whispers to me.

"Yeah, her brother is the one that hit Aaron" I say back.

She looks over like she heard us so we quickly whip back around and act like we are watching tv.

"I should probably get up and say hi should I" I say to Matt.

"Ha-ha, yeah I guess" he says as I'm getting up. I walk over to the kitchen to where they are standing and introduce myself.

"Hey, my name Allison" I say putting my hand out for a handshake. She looks at my hand but doesn't do anything. Replying without a handshake but with a smile she says "Hey! I'm Tessa, we just moved in next door."

"Yeah I saw you at school today, how was your first day?" I ask trying to sound friendly but am actually feeling pretty awkward.

"Alright I guess, as good as a first day can be, didn't make many friends but I guess you expect that first day at a new school" She says making me feel a bit uncomfortable.

"Well this is Matt" I say pointing over my shoulder, he turns around and waves with a smile and continues back to the tv. "You can come sit with us at school whenever you want" I say trying to make her feel welcome.

"Thanks for the offer!" she says still acting a bit fake. "I should really get back to the house and start unpacking, but thanks for inviting me I to your home" she says looking at Rachel with a smirk. She turns around closing the door behind her.

"Well she's sorta weird" Matt says as soon as she leaves.

"Shh!" I say laughing at Matt, "she could still be out there!" I say quietly.

"Oh so she has super hearing, can she read minds to?!" he says in a joking manner. We both laugh and continue watching tv.

Rachel yells from the kitchen asking Matt if he would like to stay for dinner. He looks at me for permission and I nod I'm agreement.
