Chapter 4

I lost my breath and all of the sudden my world turned as black as night. I saw his red eyes and dark smile plastered on his face before I lost my consciousness.

Jeun's P.O.V

"Baby?"

I looked at the beautiful young woman. She looks so elegant but her eyes was sad. I stepped forward. But I didn't dare to go too close, as I didn't know who is she. I looked around before edging closer. I got to see her face clearer. That face seems familiar...God! That face look as same as mine!

I stumbled backwards. I couldn't stop myself from shaking from head to toe. I was terrified. WHO IS SHE!?

"W-who are you?" My voice was uncontrollably shaking. My heart was beating so fast that I thought burst out of my chest. Her smile turned into a frown.

"Baby? You don't know who I am? Baby~~"

She walked towards me. But I realized that she's limping. I looked at her legs and saw it was bleeding like crazy. I screamed and pointed at her legs, hoping she'll stop. But she doesn't appeared to be scared or even care about her legs. She kept on moving forward.

Suddenly, she collapsed in front of me. I was speechless. I looked into her eyes. She cried my name and asked me to run away. I watched as she turned into a wolf..she's a WOLF!? I shook my head in order to wake up from this terrifying nightmare. But nothing happened. She held my legs and calls out my name.

"LET ME GO!"

"Jeun!!"
Someone shook me. I opened my eyes and saw my Aunt Jessie. She hugged me as I was panting and literally crying like crazy.

Later that day, I've learnt that my Grandma passed away and I was found unconscious on top of the dining table, with a death note. I cried for not trying to help Grandma. I cried and cried until I felt wasted. Aunt Jessie brought me to my room and asked me to sleep. I couldn't..I'm still thinking about the mysterious man that looked at me before I fainted. Is he a bad guy? Who is he?

My family was really sad about Grandma's departure. They kept on chanting words that I didn't quite understand except for some words that means hate and vampires and wolves. I was told to be at home all of the time and guard the house.

I don't know why Grandma's death seems to be a very big deal. I mean, my family said she died because of sudden heart attack but they've been busy like she's been killed. Or is she?

As usual, I went to her bedroom every day to find anything that have the connection to her death. I kept searching for something that might not even there. I took a last glance at the room and decided to leave it for good.

My Grandpa decided to let me go to stay with my Aunt Jessie.

"NO WAY!! WHO WILL STAY WITH YOU!?" I screamed at him. It's not that I hated Aunt Jessie but I'm worried about Grandpa. He just smiled and patted my head like he always do. Showing off his sharp teeth, he said that he'll be fine. I was sent to Aunt Jessie's house later that night.

I stayed in my room all the time and texting Naeun. She's the only human that knows I'm a wolf. And I trust her to keep it as a secret. And she kept it for almost 3 years now. She never speak about it in public.
