Chapter 9

If I say it's because I'm still young,
I think I'll get even more lost once I grow up

Jeun decided to pay a visit at her Grandpa's house. She wore her usual loose white T-shirt and tight black jeans. She tied up her hair in pigtail and about to reached her old Converse when suddenly a voice interrupted he from behind.

"You've got a bad taste. Shesh, take this," Jeun turned back and saw Jun leaning against her door. His warm smile made Jeun's heart beats so fast.

She took it from him and wore it. It was perfect and suited her well. She looked at Jun.

"Do you realize that you're in a Wolves' House?" Jeun asked. He nodded and went towards her bed. She shook her head when all of the sudden, Jun collapsed onto the bed.

"Wake up...I don't want anyone to find you here," Jeun shook his body. He groaned and continued to sleep. Jeun was really touched on how tired he looks like. She pulled the comforter and covered his body.

"Stay here. I'll get you some hot porridge or soup. You need those to be more energized," Jeun's about to walk away when all of the sudden Jun stood in front of her.

"The hell? You're on the bed just now!" Jeun was so shocked that she accidentally shouted. He smiled but it didn't cover up his tiredness. He leaned closer towards Jeun and rested his head on her shoulder. Jeun was completely frozen.

"I can't eat those. I'm allergic to garlic. Do you want me dead or what? Besides that, you should grow taller so I don't need to go all way down just to place my head on your shoulder next time," and after that, he vanished and plopped back under the comforter. Jeun held her chest.

What does he mean by 'next time' ? Does he planned on doing it again? Why?

Jeun was unaware of what's gonna happened next . Yuju came into the room happily. "GOOD MORNING, JEUN!!" She skidded and stopped abruptly as she saw someone under the comforter.

"Don't tell me you've slept with him!"said Yuju excitedly. Jeun smacked her head.

"Don't be so weird and get out of my room,please," Jeun said jokingly with hope Yuju would walk away before Jun's awake.

"Who's that, Jeun?" Hmm..seems like I'm dead. Yuju's eyes turned round and bright.

"Hello! I'm Yuju! Jeun's cousin!" Yuju said quickly before Jeun could stop her. Jun stood up as fast as lightning and looked at us. His face was reddish and he's really embarrassed.

"Err..Hello. I'm Jun," he said before cupping his mouth. On the other hand, Yuju couldn't cover up her mouth. It was left hanging. So un-Yuju-like. She held my hands.

"Y-you d-dated a..a va-vamp.."she's shaking so much that she collapsed and lost her conciousness. Why does my life have to involve many faint scenes!?

Jeun helped her cousin. Jun just stood there, not knowing what to do. He stood still and looked at Jeun.

Jeun's P.O.V

"Well, I think you should go. I don't want anyone else to know about you," I said harshly. His face showed that he's hurted. I looked away and tucked Yuju under the comforter. Poor Yuju. She never met any vampire so close. She must be really afraid.

Jun decided to walk away. I sighed. What is happening actually? I've never been in this situation. I'm not even in love with him but I acted like he's mine. Or whatever. Whenever I saw him, I will have an asthma attacks. Whenever he smiled, I'll feel very happy. What is this!?

All of the sudden, Yuju woke up and screamed. Luckily, I managed to cup her mouth and calm her down. She looked at me in the eyes. I could tell that she's afraid. I tapped her back and caressed her cheeks.

"Is he gone?" Yuju asked while looking around my room. I nodded. She exhaled heavily.
"You're in so much trouble, Jeun.." Yuju held my hands tightly. Her hands were so cold and wet. I nodded.

"But you know I'm always here right?" She asked again. I nodded. She sighed and hugged me. "Tell me everything,"she whispered.

Jeun met Jun outside. He's expression was unreadable. Jeun stepped closer and stood in front him.

"We seriously need to talk," said Jeun. Jun looked directly into her eyes. His vampire side was showing.

"Are you hungry?" Jeun asked all of the sudden. He raised his right eyebrow. "Why?"

"You're eyes are so red that I thought it was bleeding," Jeun said sincerely.

Jun laughed and his eyes turned normal. Jeun could see that he's trying hard to control the tense situation.

"Okay, so what is it?" Jun asked. Jeun was thinking about it when suddenly Jun vanished. She looked around and saw Aunt Jennie walking towards her. Oh, no wonder...

"What are you doing out here alone? I saw you talking to someone but I see no one here," she asked.

"Ah, I'm not talking to anyone. I'm just trying to recite the new poem I've learnt in school," said Jeun. Fuhhh...so close!

"Oh, okay.. Just don't stay out here for a long time. There's vampires out there!" Aunt Jennie advised. Jeun nodded and plastered a smile on her face. Her aunt walked away and Jeun exhaled.

We'll talk later then. My aunt's watching me. It's dangerous.

Sure. I'll meet you at school tomorrow.

Okay. Goodbye...

Sure, babe..

Wait a minute...BABE!? Like baby? Or babe? Or whatever is it? Why am I panicking? He's totally joking, like he usually do,right? Or did he? Arghhhh!!

Jeun's P.O.V

I started to feel nauseated as Jun sat next to me. I mean, before this, he sat next to Naeun. Ah...Naeun...her corpse was found near a restaurant, just like what Jun had said before. I really miss her. I never thought she'll end up dying. If I never tell her about me, she'll never find the vampire. I knew she did it all for me. She's been spying the vampires since the accident that killed my Grandma... Ah..Grandma...I missed her too...

"Jeun, meet me later at the bridge," Jun whispered into my ear. I replied 'yes' and focused on what the teacher was talking about.
