Well, welcome to Inkopolis! Not really. But who cares?
This is a (Sploon) Splatoon roleplay! It's open to anyone and everyone. Well, nearly that, because I need rules. And there will be rules. I'm sorry. Not.
GENERAL RULES:
- You can talk in first or third person, in text speech or paragraphs. Here are examples of each:
1st-person text:
- Callie: *pumps fist in air* And that's a win for Team Love!
- Me: I hate you all.
3rd-person text:
- Marie: In conclusion, pineapples on pizza is evil and should be banned for all eternity.
- Callie: *grabs Roller* EXCUSE ME?!
1st-person paragraph:
- Seeing as there was nothing better to do, I entered this strange chat room. Entering my username as "CraigCuttlefish", I joined just to see that strange "MC_Princess" laughing at my name. But one thing she didn't know was that a Cuttlefish always had one last trick up their sleeve. "Oh, just you wait and see," I muttered under my breath as I began to type in a new message with my own "font".
3rd-person paragraph:
- "Marina, are you sure there are no pickles in the burger?" Pearl cocked her head to one side and jokingly sniffed the bun, a faux shifty look in her eyes. From across the table, Marina giggled. "Pearlie, I think I'd remember that you hate gherkins by now."
- No godmodding. Godmodding is unnecessarily taking over someone else's character. For example, if you have a character that's fighting with someone else's character (let's say you're Teal and they're Pink) you only control Teal's actions. It's up to Pink to decide whether they dodge the shot or get hit. I will warn you if an action is godmodding, but I will be more lenient on this rule than the others.
- ABSOLUTELY NO NSFW. NO SWEARING, EITHER. But you can always say the P-Word - PECK. And fudgerigars. And toaster heads. And sheep. And Sheldon's Uncle's Brother's Daughter's Cousin.
Turf War rules:
- INK THE FLOOR.
- Aerosprays are banned from this mode due to certain circumstances, but a "mischievous" or "rogue" like character would try to sneak them in, of course.
- You can either challenge a person to a "solo" match or a "team" match. You can also choose between a Plaza match (Splatoon 1 subs/specials) and a Square match (Splatoon 2 subs/specials). If this is there, I will be there to act as a referee (through a canon character or my own OCs.) If you don't decide on a winner beforehand, I can also help you decide circumstances, like who gets splatted, whether an attack works, and who ultimately wins, through RNG and coin flips.
- STOP FOCUSING ON JUST KILLS.
Ranked Matches:
- You can choose which of the four Ranked Modes you want to play. There will be no Clam Blitz that supports Plaza weapons, sorry!
- Above rules apply.
- And Toxic Mist still sucks.
