"WAKE UP KIDS" My mom yelled from the end of the hallway. "TIME TO GO SHOPPING FOR PROM OUTFITS." I got out of bed and grabbed some clothes out of my closet and ran into the bathroom and took a shower I put my clothes on and dried my hair and put it in a ponytail. When I was done I looked into the stand up mirror. I brushed my teeth before leaving the bathroom.

I walked out of the bathroom and went into my room as Karissa ran past me to get to the bathroom before Mark who was in a stare down with her at the other end of the hallway. She got lucky and got to the bathroom first and Mark just walked back to Kyle's room and slammed the door. I walked over to my vanity and put on a little bit of make up and then I walked down stairs and sat across the table from Kyle and next to Andrew.
"I heard all the running around going on up there and that is why the two smart people took their showers last night. " Andrew said.
"Is that what took you so long to come to bed and why you smelled so good when you did?" I asked. He just nodded and kissed my head.
"How much longer will the other two be?" My mom asked.
"Who knows probably not much longer they were in a race to see who got to the bathroom first this morning. Karissa got lucky and beat Mark to the bath room so they should be down in about 20 minutes." When they came down the stairs and grabbed a package of pop-tarts out of the cabinet.
"No. No. No." My mom said. " We are going to get food when we get to the mall and then we will go dress and tux shopping. Mark do you by any chance know who you are taking to prom?"
"Yes ma'am she wearing a yellow and gold dress so I need a white and gold tux." He told my mom
"Okay." She said. "The rest of you need to agree on a color with your partner." I looked at Andrew and he looked at me then we burst out laughing. When we finally stopped laughing everyone was looking at us weird and then all of us burst out laughing.
"Well, what color's should we do?" Karissa asked.
"I don't know what you two should do but I want to do burgundy. What do you think, Andrew?" I said.
"Burgundy is fine," He replied.
"I think we should do mauve, Kyle," Karissa said to Kyle.
"Sounds good I guess," Kyle said.
"Okay." My mom said meaning it was time to go. When we went outside and saw that there wasn't going to be enough room for all of us Kyle and Mark rode with Mom, and Karissa rode with Andrew and I. When we got into Andrew's truck I took the Aux cord and plugged my phone into it.

When the song ended we all bust out laughing and another song came on only this time it was a big throw back.
