Eight // "Miss me already, Coop?"

Betty's POV
I told Jughead I loved him and then left him when the bell rang. Finally, it was lunch. I saw Trev and knew that I couldn't sit by him. I saw Jug there too, with Archie and Veronica but I didn't want to face him now so I decided to get my lunch and sit by a tree behind the school. Most people didn't even know that this was even a place in our school. I was alone. I guess I wasn't sad about that though.

"What you doing here, all alone?" I hear a familiar voice ask as I bite another part of my apple.
"Avoiding people?" He asks and I chuckle.
"Including me" He adds.
"Fine, what do you want Jug?" I ask him. Why didn't he just leave me alone? I was fine being alone.
"Just wanted to see you" He smiles.
"Well, I was fine being all alone" I sarcastically say.
"Seriously though" I say and watch him chuckle.
"Are you saying you don't want to see me? And want me to leave right now?" He asks, pretending to be hurt and offended.
"I'm so sorry Jug, but yes" I sarcastically reply, trying to keep myself from bursting out to laughters.
"Then I'mma just go" He says and starts to walk away. I knew he was joking but I still grabbed him by the wrist and stopped him and saw a smirk form on his face.
"Miss me already, Coop?"
"You bet your ass I did" I laughingly reply.
"Can we talk about earlier though?" Jughead asks and I knew this was going to be a serious conversation.

Jughead's POV
I sat down next to her. I wanted to ask her about earlier; how she said that she still and never stopped loving me. The thought of it still makes my heart melt. I really do love her and I'm falling for her over and over again, every single second.
"Did you really mean it?" I directly ask.
"Yes, Jug. I never stopped loving you" She shyly admits and blushes so turns around the other way so I can't see her hot pink cheeks.
"Me too. I never stopped loving you. I guess... Toni was kinda like a rebound because I really missed you and thought I never would've seen you ever again" I tell her, which was all 100% true.
"Really?" Her eyes wander back to me.
"Really" I say and pull her into a passionate kiss.
"I missed this" She sighs a sigh of relief after we break apart.
"I missed you" I say which makes her blush.
"Oh Jug, you're such a flirt!" She giggles.
Gosh, her laugh, her smile, her mouth, her eyes, her figure, everything about her was just so amazing!!
