Chapter 6: The Date

Well. It's finally here. The Date has finally Started. And parappa and lammy doesn't know where to go. "Uh. Lammy. Where are we gonna go?" Said Parappa. "I-I honestly don't know..." Lammy is already feeling like she's messing up the date again, but then, Parappa has thought up of a place of where they should go. "I know where we should go! We should go to the arcade." "Uh, no thanks Parappa. I'm not that much of a gaming gal." Said Lammy. "Aw come on, it'll be fun! You're gonna love it." Said Parappa. Lammy hesitated to say it, but she can't deny it. She can't say no to Parappa. So, she agreed to go with him. "Great!" Said Parappa, as he grabs Lammy's hand and takes her to the arcade. In her mind, lammy is thinking this to herself. "Ohmygodparappaisholdingmyhandthisisreallyhappeninglammydon'tscreamdon'tscreamdon'tscream!!"

They then arrive at the arcade. "Well. Here we are!" Said Parappa. "So. What game do you want to play?" Lammy is looking around the arcade and she doesn't know what to play, until she sees a game called, "Dance You Dancey Pants!" (I know that's a ridiculous name, but that's all I can come up with) "How about that one?" Lammy said, as she points towards the arcade game. Parappa then agrees and they go to the machine. They both step on the arrows, and then, they prepare to dance. The Game then starts. "3...2..1...START DANCING!" They then start dancing to the beat of the song and follow each arrow. So far, Parappa is doing a great job at this game, even though he is messing up in some parts. But Lammy, she is messing up in this game. The game was going a little too fast for her. Parappa sees this and he feels really sorry for her, and she then tries to help her. "Uh. Lammy. Is there something wrong?" "Y-Yeah. I am." Said Lammy. The machine then taunts her by saying, "Wow, You really suck at this, Player 2!" "W-Who asked you??" Said Lammy. "Lammy. You don't have to get so worked up or stressed about a game. You can just get on with the flow. As my teacher once said, In the rain or in the snow, got the got the funky flow." Said Parappa. "And remember, it doesn't matter if this game is really hard for you. You just gotta believe!" Lammy took those words by heart and she decided to go with his plans. And with the words Parappa said, Lammy is then doing really better in the game. She is killing it. Parappa is looking at her in a proud way while playing with her. And then, the game got faster and faster, and the two kept getting more faster and faster. And then, the game ends. The two are catching their breath and parappa is looking at Lammy in a proud way. "... You honestly did really good out there." Lammy heard that and blushes really hard. "Y-You too." Parappa then smiles. They then explore around the arcade and play more games. They then start to have a little bit more fun in the place.

They then leave the arcade and they go to the park, where it's apparently empty, even though it's not closed yet. Parappa and Lammy then sit on a bench. "Man. That was great." Said Parappa. "Yeah..." Said Lammy. They really aren't saying much to each other, and just sat there quitly....that is until lammy decided to scoot closer to Parappa. Parappa is kind of noticing this, but not much. That is until lammy put her head on his shoulder. Parappa is panicking in his mind. He didn't know what to do. "Uh. Lammy. What are you doing?" "O-Oh! I uh. Uuh. Uuuuhhhh." Lammy is has nothing to say. Parappa is getting suspicious about lammy. "Lammy. I want to know something. Why do you always act so shyly whenever you're around me? I mean, you stared at me for 5 seconds, and now you asked me out on a date. Lammy. Just tell me what's going on?" Lammy's gig is up. She's no longer gonna defend herself. She then lets out a long sigh and then says this. "Look Parappa. I need to confess this to you. I know you have a girlfriend, but...you honestly have made me really happy whenever you are around. You don't stop believing in people, and you never give up. And you might be one of the most sweetest and most awesomeness person I have ever seen. So. What I'm trying to say is..." Lammy then grabs his face and says this, "I love you Parappa." She then kisses him on the lips. Parappa couldn't believe it. He actually got kissed by Lammy. He doesn't know HOW to feel. He doesn't know If he feels shocked, stunned, angry, etc., about what's going on right now. And when lammy stopped kissing him, she then blushes really hard. "........ BYE!" Said Lammy, as she goes back running really fast to her apartment. Parappa then got off the bench and walked home with a shocked expression. Lammy then came back to her apartment, catching her breath and blushing really hard. Ma-San sees an embarrassed lammy. "So. How's the date?" Said Ma-San. "Shut up..." Said Lammy. Back to Parappa, he has came back home still with that shocked expression on his face. He then goes to his room and falls to his bed, knowing he has been kiss by Lammy, and she confessed her feeling to him. Now the question remains. How will sunny react to this?
