Chapter 7: After the Date

It was the day after the Date, and our boy Parappa is still awake and in shocked about what happened. His eyes were blood shot red, his fur was fuzzled, etc. He couldn't believe yesterday. And he was repeating this in his mind. "Lammy? Likes me?!? How will I tell sunny?! What will I say to lammy?! I don't want to break her heart but.....UGH" His Dad comes in and sees him paranoid. ".....Uuuhhh Son? You ok?" "Yeah I'm fine. A girl has a crush on me and she kisses me on the lips while I have a girlfriend and I don't know what to say to the girl who loves me.......I'm doing spectacular!" His dad then has a really concerned look on his face.

At band practice, Milkcans are practicing playing their new song. They then stop so they can talk about stuff. Katy then ask How is everyone doing. "Oh both of us are doing good. I bet lammy's doing good after last night." Ma-San said in a calm matter. Lammy then eeps and gets nervous. Katy is curious about what Ma-San said. "Huh? Lammy? What is she talking about?" Lammy then sweats and gulps as she's nervous about what she'll say. "W-Well. I-I-I...Umm..." "Lammy. Don't be so shy to tell us. We're your friends. We can understand." Lammy breath in and out and says this. "......I actually have a crush on Parappa and we were on a date yesterday and I kissed him on the lips......." Katy is in complete shock when she said that. "Oh. My. God.....Lammy that's amazing! But you know he has a-" Before she can finish, Lammy stops her dead on her tracks by saying "I know! But...I can't erase Parappa off my mind. He's the sweetest person I've ever met. But I can't erase the fact that Sunny...is her girlfriend...." "Hey. Don't feel conflicted about this. Sure, he may have a girlfriend, but what if he's ok with that?" "He'd be ok with me fangirling over him?" Said Lammy, in confusion. "That's not I'm saying. He might not accept your love, but he would still accept you for what you are." Said Katy. "And besides, as a gal who has faced heartbreak before, it's ok to just get over it and move on." Lammy is feeling a bit better about what Katy said. Katy can be a good advicer who knows how to make Lammy feel better. Whenever she needs help, she usually goes to Katy for help. "Yeah. Thanks Katy." "No prob! Now let's continue for our concert tomorrow, eh?" They then do so.

It's nighttime, and Parappa has been conflicted about what to do all day. He doesn't want to break Lammy's heart. But at the same time, he can't just cheat on Sunny. He kept debating himself on what to do. And then, he has finally decided. It would be hard for him to do this, but he knows what needs to be done.
