Chapter 10: I'm ready for you...

At Lammy's apartment, she was just at a chair, sitting and thinking to herself, on why she isn't good enough for Parappa. Now, she is Almost over it, but she still wants to know what went wrong. She then gone to her phone, wanting to call her friends. She called Katy, but she wasn't on the phone, as her voicemail said. "Hey, it's The Milkcans! Sorry, we can't be on the phone right now. But you can leave the voicemail after the beep! Have a groovy day!" The voicemail ended. And Lammy said "Um...hey Katy....I now know how you feel about being heartbroken now...and I wish I could move on like you...but that's impossible. And Ma-San, thanks for all your efforts to get me prepared for Parappa....but I guess it wasn't worth it...." Lammy then finishes her voicemail and then goes back to play her guitar.

At the Milkcans band practice, Parappa, Katy, Ma-San, and PJ are making something for Lammy. And Parappa's actually really passionate about what they're making. PJ was sleeping a bit but the three constantly has to wake him up a lot so he can focus back on the project. Right now, Parappa is just hearing Katy's guitar playing and is impressed. "Yes! That's it!" He said in glee. "We're almost done with this thing, I'm so excited to share this to Lammy!" Katy then realized something. "Hey! We have a concert in two days!!" She said. "You know Parappa. What if you do this thing to her on stage?" "That actually sounds like a great idea!" Said Parappa. Katy then picked up her phone and sees she missed a call with Lammy. She may be sad she missed her call but she then got an idea and then calls Lammy. "Who are you calling?" Parappa said. "It's Lammy." Katy said. Parappa is shocked and wanted to say something but Katy shushs him. "She shouldn't hear you! We gotta keep this a secret." Parappa agreed and keeps his mouth shut.

At Lammy's apartment, her phone starts ringing and Lammy then goes to it and calls it. "Hello?" "Hey Lammy!" To Lammy's surprise, it was Katy on the phone! "Katy?!" "Yes Lammy. It's me." Said Katy. "You know. We have another concert in like two days and-" "W-WHAT?!? I don't remember us having a concert in two days!!" Lammy said. "That's because your heartbreak got in the way." Said Katy. "Look, our concert will kinda be like our last concert, but without the heartbreak and a little surprise me and a friend been working on!" Lammy got interested. "Oooooo." She said. "So. See you tomorrow Lammy! Bye!" Said Katy as she hung out the phone. Lammy got interested in the surprise. And since she has two days until the concert, she then thought to herself ".....Guess I should go to practice." She then left her apartment and to practice.

At practice, everyone was practicing what they made and Parappa is pleasantly pleased with what they got. "This is amazing!!" He said. "Yea, this is actually pretty impressive for what we did!" Said PJ. Ma-San then came in and informed everyone about something. "Lammy's coming!" Parappa and PJ are shocked to hear that. "WHAT?!?!" Said Parappa. "Ok. You guys keep the music notes, I'll keep the lyrics!" Said Katy. Parappa and PJ agreed, they grab the notes, and ran outta there. "Bye Katy! See you in two days!!" Parappa said as he and PJ left practice. Katy then hide the lyrics in a box just as Lammy arrived. "I made it!" Lammy said. "Lammy, what are you doing here?" Katy said, in confusion. "Well, seeing how we got a concert in two days, I feel like we should practice here a bit." Lammy said. "Lammy. The concert isn't any different from our last concert." Katy said. "Oh well." Lammy said. "Gotta make sure you still know your stuff." "You make a good point there. Alright. Lets rock!" The band started practicing, and Katy started noticing how Lammy was feeling better. Yea, Lammy's still processing but she was rocking her guitar with no care in the world. And even though Katy's happy to see Lammy better, she can't wait to show her what will happen two days later.

TWO DAYS LATER

It was the day of the concert, and the theater was even more packed than last time. Backstage, Katy and Ma-San where waiting for Parappa and PJ since Lammy is at the bathroom, getting her makeup on. Katy then brings out the lyrics. Parappa and PJ then arrive, with Parappa arriving with different clothing, as he is wearing a black shirt and blue shorts, while wearing is orange hat. While PJ is wearing his DJ gear. "Oh thank god you arrived!" Katy said. "You still have the music notes?" "Yep! And we see you still got the lyrics!" Parappa said. "We sure did!" "I hope this plan works you dip-sh*t." Said Ma-San. "Yea....I hope too..." Parappa said. "Lets hope all goes well...." Katy then send Parappa and PJ, hiding behind the instrument cases. Lammy then comes out of the bathroom. "Alright. You gals ready?" She said. "YEAH!!" Ma-San and Katy said. They then go out on stage and then prepare to perform.

The concert then started. And the girls were just rocking it. Like, extremely. And when the concert kept going and the songs kept on playing, Lammy was just shredding that guitar! This got Katy really proud of her. And Parappa was behind the instrument cases, looking at Lammy, and he's actually loving her guitar skills, it even kinda made him blush looking at her a bit. And then, they were at their last song, at least, that's what they thought. It was "Got to move!" Everyone in the audience was getting all excited and cheery when that song played! It's like, the most popular song in Parappa Town! And after Katy and Ma-San stops at their part, Katy said "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, LAMMY!!" Katy and Ma-San then go backstage and let Lammy play her guitar solo. Lammy was KILLING IT with her guitar solo. She was playing like there was no tomorrow, feeling proud! and Katy, Ma-San, And Parappa and PJ, who stopped hiding behind the cases, was looking at Lammy, starstrucked and amazed. Katy was proud of Lammy because Katy as felt Lammy has thrown her depression away and burnt it! "Well. You guys ready?" She asked Parappa and PJ. PJ just nodded while Parappa looked at the lyrics and said ".....yeah...guess I am..." Parappa then looked at Lammy and said ".......I'm ready for you Lammy...."

Katy and Ma-San then come back on stage to finish the song. And After they do, we now reach the end of the concert....or did we? Katy then went up to the microphone and said "Alright ladies and gentlemen, Thank you for coming to the concert! But we have one more surprise for you all....and it's all for our favorite member, Lammy." Lammy was more interested in what's happening until Katy said "LIGHTS."

The lights then turn off. Lammy then step aside while Katy and Ma-San get ready to play their instruments at the background, and the stagedoor then opened, and what came out.....was Parappa, with a microphone at hand. Lammy and the audience was shocked to see him here, as the audience gasped in shock. Lammy then said "......P-Parappa?" Parappa then looked at her and said "Lammy.  This...is for you." Katy and Ma-San then play their instruments and DJ PJ came out and played his equipment. Parappa then sings This song about how he was wrong and how he was blinded by love by someone, when he wasn't paying attention to the one he was supposed to love. This made Lammy's eye widen and have her blush like a Tomato. She couldn't believe Parappa is singing this, all for her! And when the audience saw Parappa at first, they were gonna hate him. But when he started singing that song, he started to grow on them a bit. And after he finished that song, he looked at Lammy and said "......I'm sorry Lammy. Could you ever forgive me?" Lammy had no words. She just went up to parappa, shed some tears of joy, smiled, and hugged him. She was just so happy Parappa officially accepted her feelings for him. Parappa just hugged back, and everyone started cheering. They stopped hugging. "So....does this mean..." Lammy said before Parappa stopped her. "Well, it might not be official seeing how I'm having a girlfriend that isn't sunny and I'm kinda processing...but...sure Lammy. I guess we can be together." Lammy smiled with joy and kissed Parappa on the lips passionately, and he kissed back. Everyone basically cheered. And In the audience where chop chop master onion, looking at the concert, and nodded, knowing he finally did his job, and Sunny, who was satisfied Parappa had finally moved on. Katy basically hugged Ma-San and PJ with joy. And after Parappa and Lammy stopped kissing, Ma-San said to Lammy, "Hey Lammy....don't mess this up." "I won't." Lammy said.

And just like that, this is the beginning of an unofficial, but sweet, relationship.

Epilogue

Parappa: Well. That was a success. Even though I lost the girl of my dreams, Maybe chop chop was kinda right. I can't let love get in the way of someone I'm supposed to care about. Sometimes, love can blind you, and it can get in the way of someone who has those feelings. Sometimes, It's really best the love of your life is someone you don't expect. Even if you don't share the same feelings, you can at least accept it. And trust me, from this adventure, I definitely learned that.

(AUTHOR'S NOTE: OH. I'M DONE. IT'S OVER. I'M FINALLY FREE!!! Thank you guys so much for sticking through this story, even from the beginning. Parappa x Lammy is like my favorite ship. And I'm so glad I had to start my writing career here with this ship. I'm actually really proud of this book. I wanted to be a writer one day, so this is gonna be a great time for me to use this site. So, I have a lot of stuff to write.
