You stood by the large oak doors with the man you had chosen to walk you down the aisle stood beside you. You smoothed out your dress again and breathed in to calm your nerves as you clutched a bunch of your favourite flowers. This was it. The day had finally arrived. Tom had proposed six moths ago and everyday since had been perfection. He would face time you every night before bed if he was away and every second he was with you he would make sure that you knew that he loved you. You smiled a little as you remembered how he proposed. What made the whole thing more scary was that you grew up telling yourself that you will never get married since your parents got divorced, father twice, mother three times, your brother, Adam, once, and your brother, Graham once as well. But even though all their marriages failed, you didn't fear about that. You and Tom were meant to be and everyone knew it.
~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~
"Tom come on!" You giggled as he guided you into the passenger seat of the car, making sure you didn't bang your head since you were wearing a blindfold. "Tell me where we're going." He then strapped you in and gave you a kiss on your cheek and proceeded to his side of the car. He got into the driving side and put on your favourite album. You began to giggle as you heard Tom start to sing in impressions of your favourite celebrities.
Tom drove for about thirty minutes before he began to slow down and eventually stopped. He told you to sit there for a few minutes while he went and did something. You yawned as you sat there, swaying slightly to the music still playing. It was ten at night and Tom had only allowed you eat something small for dinner over four hours ago, meaning your stomach growled rather loudly. At last, Tom opened your door, took your seat-belt off, once again kissing you on the cheek, and guided you out of the car. You walked slowly, Tom's arms around you to guide you, for about ten seconds. Tom then let go of you and began to take off your blindfold.
When it was off you couldn't help the small gasp that escaped your lips. Tom had made a picnic-complete with candles, champagne and and music playing on a wireless radio tuned into classic FM. If that wasn't beautiful enough, he had driven out into the country. You were in the middle of a gigantic field where you could see London to your left and more nature to your right. Sinc you were away from the city lights you were able to see every single star in the sky clearly.
"Have a seat." Tom said, sitting on the black picnic blanket.. You gladly joined him and began to eat your picnic, laughing and talking with Tom as you did so. When you both were finished eating, Tom turned the radio up and stood up, holding his hand out to help you stand. You took his hand and you both began to dance to the music.
But because it was a radio station, at the end of the short song the adverts came along. You sat back on the blanket and tried to stop Tom from cleaning everything up and putting it all back into the car, including the radio, but he insisted. He then joined you again on the blanket but didn't sit, he lied down. He opened his arms and asked you to join him. You didn't hesitate and lied next to him, your head on his chest and his arms wrapped around you.
"Do you ever think about the future?" Tom said softly as you watched the sky together. You admitted that you don't really think about it. That you prefer to live in the moment.
"What kind of thing you do you want in your future?" He asked.
"I don't know. Whatever we want to do i suppose. Whatever makes us happy"
"We? Us? You plan to be together for the rest of your life?"
"Well...Yeah." You said shyly. You heard Tom chuckle slightly and you felt him smile as he kissed the top of your head. He then gently moved you off of him and sat up, you still lying on the floor. Tom was shaking slightly as he got on one knee and pulled a small box out of his pocket. You instantly sat up, now sitting cross legged facing Tom, one hand covering your mouth.
"Then let me make your dream come true. (Your whole name), will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" He said, shaking more now.
"Of course i will." You said automatically. You lowered your hand away from your mouth as Tom took it in his hand as he placed the ring on your other one. Once the ring was placed on your finger Tom pretty much pounced on you as he embraced you, swaying back and forth and whispering how much he loved you as he did so.
~~~~~~flashback ended~~~~~~~
You joined arms with the person who was walking you down the aisle as the large oak doors opened. You heard the music you and Tom had chosen together play in the background and the sound of people standing to their feet. Your eyes were looking at the floor as you began to walk, too nervous to look up. But the smile on your face showed clearly how much you wanted this. Halfway to the alter, you raised your eyes and saw Tom in his morning suit, looking at you with the biggest grin you had ever seen and eyes gleaming as you watched you walk towards him. Besides him was his best man Luke Windsor, Toms best friend and publicist.
Walking behind you was Elsa and Chris Hemsworth walking together, and Emma Watson, you became good friends after she appeared in an episode of Nightmare, walking with Robert Downy Jr. Carrying your veil was Heaven, your maid of honour.
You arrived at the alter and the person walking you down the aisle kissed you on the cheek and handed your arm to Tom.
"Look after her." They said, clapping Tom gently on the arm. Tom nodded at them and smiled at you, leading you to the place where you will say your vows.
The wedding went off without a hitch. You and Tom said your vows and exchanged rings, kissed for the first time as husband and wife then went away for a photo's at the field where Tom proposed.
Before going to the wedding reception, you and Tom stopped off at your new house and changed out of your wedding clothes and into more comfortable, but still formal clothes. It took a little longer than you had hoped since you and Tom....got distracted.
You walked into the wedding reception, Tom wearing a white top with the sleeves rolled up and black trousers and you wearing a red dress, hand in hand and grinning.
"Congratulations." Heaven said, running over to you and Tom and giving you a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. You managed to get her off you, the hug extremely uncomfortable due to her pregnant baby, and she stepped back a little, holding hands with her husband, Benedict Cumberbatch.
Authors note: So that's it. The final chapter :) In case it wasn't obvious Benedict and Heaven got together and got married and are having a child. I thought he deserved a happy ending as well as you. It feels sad to say that this is the last one...is it bad that i've actually gotten attached to this story? Because i have! Hope you all are ok with this ending, i just wanted there to finally be a happy ending because it was a pretty sad story. Well this is goodbye my lovelies D':
